My old toaster was 27 years old when it died. It was a gift from my mother. This one was from an award for doing my job over an beyond. I love this toaster, the sliding crumb trays are perfect, my old one you had to pop the bottom off and stuff went everywhere. Now I have options for bagels, frozen and other stuff. Love the fact that you can push up on handles to make getting out things like English muffins easier to get out. I would recommend getting this toaster to anyone.

The toaster is awesome, allows us to toast 4 breads at the same time, have the option to toast as Bagel for regular bread to get a nice toast. They originally gave this toaster to us when we got married and when the old one got messed up my wife search for the same model. Excellent quality, for it to last 16 years.
Cuisinart is a name you can trust. I had my last toaster, also a Cuisinart for over 20 years. It was still working fine when I replaced it. The only thing was a small part broke off but I had it for so long that I didn't mind if that piece on the handle couldn't be replaced, just got a new one. Now I have a beautiful toaster that matches all my other appliances. 😀
This is a really nice toaster, it toasts evenly and consistently. Bread and bagels are perfect whichever setting you prefer. I had this same model before and it lasted 20 years! I love it!
I bought it put it away and continued using and struggling with my old toaster but when I started using this new toaster, no more burnt toast! It works totally great and it's very easy to clean. We all love it.
Nice sleek design profile. What is best about this toaster are easy settings for evenly toasted bread and muffins. Bagels also. Easy cleanup wth slide out crumb trays.
Not quite as sturdy as it would appear although it seems to work well and is attractive in a retro kind of way. The temperature selector it pretty horrible as there is little resistance when you turn the dial. Feels cheesy. Fix that and you get five stars.
The toaster is cheaply made. It is not consistent with toasting, even if the setting has not been changed. Toaster will toast one side and not the other even, burn the toast or just warm the bread without selecting bagel, defrost, or reheat. . . . But it's better than nothing 😁 and you get what you paid for.
Since it was Cuisinart, I thought it would be a first class toaster but it does NOT brown the toast. I have it on the highest setting and it only toasts very lightly in the center of the bread. I've tried every setting and still only get blond toast! BTW, this is wheat bread and toaster on highest setting.
