I purchased this as a gift for a young boy who loves pugs. I didn't notice the wings, nor did I realize, before reading the hangtag, that this was a "girly" thing. Otherwise, it is cute and soft and squishy, and I don't expect that my grandson will be any the wiser after I remove the wings and, maybe, the hearts, stitch it up, and run a black magic marker over all references to "Pam" on the hangtag.
