We were very satisfied with our new stove and Went with GE again because of the quality of Product. Will not go with any other product then GE.
Love this cooking on this stove. I like the knobs have lights on them to indicate when the gas is on.
Just received my cooktop. I really like the sleek design and placement of the knobs in the front. It is easy to be able to see which knob goes to which burner. I am looking forward to using the griddle feature utilizing the left 2 burners. The steel grates are continuous across the whole cooktop and heavy duty enough to put my big canner and cook pots on during canning season. I feel I got a good value for the price paid and looking forward to many years of using this cooktop.
The cooktop is simple and easy to use. It cleans easily, and the burners have a wide variability of heat. From simmer to power boil, it conquers it all!
Just got installed, but I love how it looks, love the power of the flames, and love the backlit knobs.
Love the stovetop, heavy duty. Downside is the knobs peel and are plastic, I attempted to spray paint one but that was a failure.
I really like my cooktop, but GE could not have chosen any worse knobs. PLASTIC, covered with the thinist foil. Some of the foil was messed up out of the box and the rest looked like the photo by day 2. Not sure why GE would want such bad reviews, they are many, or why they would choose to not correct this awful quality once customers had melting plastic. Seriously hoping they offer a better quality know I can purchase after market.
Only a Month after installation our backlit knobs are starting to peel off or melting this is a clear design flaw and now have to replace these knobs. GE should change these via warranty. Definitely not happy with knobs placement and quality if we have to keep replacing these continuously.
I have this installed just 2 weeks ago and already the knobs have burn and melting. Terrible design of product.
One month into the new GE Gas Cooktop in stainless steel finish. Within a month of it's use, the burner top black discis changing the color from black to copper. The bottom stainless steel finish is so poor quality that it gets scratched very easily with top grills in position. I have been using only GE appliances from last 25+ years and never had any issues. All other appliances in my kitchen (GE Cafe Refrigerator, Microwave, dual ovens, dishwasher) are GE only with stainless steel finish and I never had any issues with them regarding their quality and function. This one is highly disappointing.
