Cute baby music player. I love the fact it plays the Jackson five song ABC and All Star it's much better than regular baby tunes. They are in insturmental so it's great for little ones. It does quite alot compared to an older play boombox we have from our first child. Haven't changed the batteries in it since we bought it!! Overall I think it's great!!
My grandson, who has autism, loves this toy. I bought this for him when he was 11months old to take on a long trip. At age 7, he still pulls it out of the toy box. He loved turning, spinning and cranking the various knobs and cylinders. And when he finally mastered the music buttons - he spent hours entertaining himself. Educationally, I believe it helped with his motor skills and he learned cause and effect (i.e. if I push this button or crank that handle - music plays, etc... It has taken a beating, but continued to play music until about a year ago. Not a bad investment since I only paid $10 on sale for it 6 years ago. I'm expecting another grandchild and will probably buy another one even at double the price - unless I find something better.
My daughter loved the boombox but the music came out funky so we had to return it. Very disappointed.
