This is a terrific set to get new parents and the baby off to a healthy start. The bottle sizes are generous and easy to handle, making them easier to find when you need them. The scents are soft and non-allergenic which is important while you are getting to know your new little one. The wash and shampoo combination means with one bottle, a washcloth and some water you're all set for baby's bath. Get a towel & the bottle of lotion for after and the routine is complete. Since the fragrance is so light, it's great to keep caretakers moisturized too-we rub a little on after. It's nice to not 'smell like a baby' as is common with many other products on the market. Since the bottles are large, they would be great to keep at a grandparents' house or anywhere baby spends a lot of time. No need to worry about packing the diaper bag & misplacing the trial size & smaller bottles. They will last a long time! They come shrink wrapped together as a set which makes them perfect for gift giving too. Whether alone or as part of a basket, they are an essential that you can't have too many of.
We consider ourselves an Aveeno family as we all have our favorite Aveeno products. I personally love this set for my son. He has sensitive skin and most products leave him with redness and bumps. Since our pediatrician recommended this Aveeno Baby Daily Care Set, my son and I are a lot happier. The Aveeno Wash & Shampoo is so convenient as it performs equally as well as a body wash and a shampoo. It has a really pleasant scent that is light and comforting...it smells like baby! It is also a no tears formula, so there is zero discomfort using this wash. I always follow up with the Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion. This keeps my son's skin feeling so smooth and soft. I am definitely thrilled that Aveeno makes this Baby line as it has been a real blessing with his sensitive skin.
We love the light oat scent of this product. This is a product for all the babies in the house, the younger and older ones. Because this is baby product, it is gentle on the skin or hair. For us that have sensitive skin, this is a much needed product. The body wash / shampoo works great on oily hair, I am guessing because of the oat base, and lathers up very well. The lotion moisturizes the skin without making it feel greasy. The moisturizing lotion helps our dry cracked hands, elbows, and feet. Even the men in the house, can wear it without worry of an overly fragrant smell.
The Aveeno Baby Daily Care Set is an awesome duo of gentle cleanser for baby's hair and skin and a daily moisturizer. The full-size bottles are 12 ounces each—the cleanser has a pour spout (easier to use when bathing a little one) and the lotion has a pump feature. The natural oat-blend cleanser is soap-free, tear-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and is hypoallergenic. The fragrance is so soft and delicate and leaves skin feeling clean and amazing. It isn't the typical “baby product” scent, just fresh and light. The hypoallergenic moisturizer is (completely) fragrance-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and steroid-free. The package indicates that it is gentle enough for use on newborns. It is absolutely WONDERFUL! The onset of cold weather has left my skin itchy, dry, and uncomfortable and this moisturizer soothed it immediately. My husband used it on his hands, which are calloused and dry from decades of farming. He loved it! It is not greasy at all and leaves skin feeling so soft. I have very fair, sensitive skin (a natural redhead) and it made such a difference from the first use. I would definitely recommend this set to everyone for children of all ages and stages. It would make a perfect baby shower gift. My granddaughters will enjoy these products when they visit.
I received this Aveeno Baby Daily Care Set for Delicate Skin and Hair 2pk to review and love it!!! I have never been disappointed with Aveeno products and their gentle nature. They are dermatologist and pediatrician recommended and super for babies, children, and adults. We use the Aveeno products everyday. The lotion is fragrance-free and the bodywash/shampoo is only lightly scented. The wash and shampoo is super gentle, lathers nicely, is tear-free and easy on the eyes, and yet leaves hair free of tangles. The lotion goes on smoothly and lasts all day so we only need to apply once per day. It's hard to find lotions and bodywash that don't have tons of extra unnecessary ingredients and harsh fragrances added. I love that Aveeno has limited ingredients. Overall, we are super happy with these products and will be purchasing more to use. I would definitely recommend these products to family and friends. This would also make a great baby shower gift!!!
Both the Aveeno Baby Body Wash and the Lotion are wonderful! There is practically no odor at all, and both the body wash and the lotion are very gentle and mild. Babies need items like this for their delicate skin. I like to use it myself, because it feels wonderful on my skin too.

Both our kids, a baby and a 7-year-old, used this set, the shampoo and the lotion as they both have skin allergies and sensitive skin and me and my wife are very happy with the results! The Aveeno Baby Care Set is specially formulated for gentle, delicate and sensitive skin. First benefit is that it has natural oat extract which is gentle on the kids skin and second benefit is that is tear-free and thirdly, but not last, is the allergy tested formula that contains no parabens, no dyes, no phthalates, no steroids, no formaldehydes, nut and dairy free and it is leaving the hair soft, clean and fresh and also it's hypo-allergenic! We highly recommend it!!!
I am reviewing the Aveeno Baby Essential Daily Care for Baby & Mommy Gift Set. Aveeno is a good brand so I was happy to try and review this item. First of all I do feel the title is a bit misleading being called a baby & mommy gift set. It's just baby shampoo/wash and baby lotion so nothing really for Mommy but that's fine. I feel the title should be something more like Aveeno Baby Essentials Daily Care Wash & Lotion Combo Pack. However, for the items they are both marked as lightly scented and they are definitely lightly scented as I can barely smell them but what I can smell is a light, fresh and clean fragrance. The baby shampoo/wash is clear and lathers fine and the lotion is white and does feel very nourishing. The wash is listed as tear free and when I see this I do like to purposely get some suds in my eyes to see if its truly tear free and this one is. No burning or itching when this happened. I rinsed my eyes out and I was fine after as well. Overall I do recommend these products for your baby but feel the title should be changed.
This Aveeno Baby Daily Care Set for Delicate Skin and Hair Combo is good for baby Hair and Skin. Been using on Babies Hair and Skin for a couple weeks and it seems to work great . No irritations at all. Baby seems happy with it. I have even used the Lotion on my face and hands a couple times and It is good even on my adult skin. I would recommend this to anyone with a little one with delicate skin. Excellent deal and good product.
