I'm overjoyed about my new GE washer. It washes clothes and other items quietly and efficiently. I look forward to laundry day and the clean, fresh smells this machine makes possible.
This washer is getting the job done much better than our old Maytag. It's the agitator on this unit that is making a big difference. The clothes are cleaner, and I like the way that most of the water is removed from the clothes during the spin cycle. Only drawback is the 1 year warranty.
It does sound different than my prior machine. It washes very well and spins the clothes so well, they are easy to dry! Love it! I'm so happy with my purchase!!
What a great washer! Have used this machine for clothes, towels, curtains and blankets. Everything has come out squeaky clean and undamaged. All cycles and temps work well and I feel I have a marvelous new washer for a very reasonable price.
The only think I like about this washer gtw325aswww is that you can manually select the water level, but really can't since the water level seems the same on all selection weather it's Max or Low. Note this, this model of washer doesn't have the second rinse option only deep rinse which isn't the same as second rinse. I also have white spots on clothes why its because this washer isn't rinsing clothes good
At first I loved the washer but over time it gets louder and where you put the fabric softener you need to take that out and clean it else it gets very moldy in there. If you have this washer in a rental It's for sure going to get gross and because tenants usually don't check that stuff or even care so I had to learn that the hard way.
I bought this washer only because it was one that met the size constraints I had to deal with (which was very small) and was supposedly on sale. The washer is very basic and has knobs to turn to choose size and type of clothing. The offerings are adequate for me as a single person. I do like the stainless steel drum but the noise when it is washing is unbelievable; I would never recommend it due to the noise alone. I am thankful that I purchased the store extenede warranty as I can't imagine it having a long life.
This is the worst washing machine I've ever owned. 1st it looked like rust around the top of tub after a few washes and now when I took off the softener top to clean because it gunks up often it looks like sludge in the wringer. I don't even wash very dirty clothes. This is gross.
My washer sucks it is constantly leaking water onto the floor, not a little a lot. I've had nothing but problems with drive belts and no water everywhere. I always had cheap Amanda washers and dryers. Yes you replace every 5-8 years. That's why I bought a more expensive GE. It's been a nightmare. I tried to add an image but it won't allow. lol.
This washer has been a real pain! There are several pieces of dark residue coming out on our clothing. We have removed the agitator several times & cleaned out the gunk, however it keeps coming back. We have also used a washer cleaning product. Our old washer was a Frigidaire and we never had this issue!
