If you're looking for a well designed, high-end look and feel gas range without breaking the bank stop looking, this is it. Most appliances today, even though they look high-end often have a cheap feeling to them. Its either in the handles and knobs, weight of the parts, or the product finish, something always gives it away. This range however kills it in all areas! Not only does it look great it also works flawlessly. The burners light quick, the oven gets to temp quick and HOLDS temp like a champ! Extra bonus...its easy to use and figure out! The Oven that also works as a convection and Air fry make it that more versatile and useful for its price. The front display looks high tech but once you figure it out, it is easy to use and very useful. We bought the full kitchen Gallery set and we love it for its looks, functionality and reliability.
We purchased the Frigidaire - 30" Front Control Gas Range with Air Fry in February of this year. We were very pleased with the speed that the gas burners cook with and using NO special pans. We are extremely pleased. The most surprising item is the AIR FRYER BUILT INTO THE OVEN. We had tried a small fryer to cook French Fries for the family that took us five batches cooking for the family of 6. We were able to cook in our new oven with the air fryer for the entire family doing it once and without turning the potatoes. We used Frigidaire's own special rack and basket which was great. Attached is the picture of the breaded chicken and roasted potatoes which I was able to master easily. This oven makes it extremely easy to cook food for the entire family in a healthy manner. We bought this range over a month ago and I have to say it has been a welcome addition to our kitchen. I am an avid baker and the results using the convection feature are superb. I also can't say enough about the air fryer feature and the air fryer pan. Suddenly fried chicken or crispy French fries have been added to our health conscious meal plans. The burners are so a great feature in that they are both powerful and easy to adjust. And finally, a true convection oven with a gas broiler and easy to clean too. We bought two identical gas ranges to replace two 37 year ranges. We hope they and we last as long. We bought two ranges instead of a 60 inch range. They cost less and we have 8 burners, two griddles and two ovens for twice as much cooking fun. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I absolutely love my new range. The burners are instantly responsive. I love having 2 large burners, one medium and one small. Plus the griddle burner in the middle. I like the feel of the control knobs, they are sturdy and good looking. I've tried air frying and it was fantastic. I did purchase a stainless steel rack that fits inside my 1/4 sheet cookie sheet just for air frying. It was perfect. I've also baked a favorite cookie recipe using the convection oven and they turned out great. I had a convection oven in my last range, but never used it. I baked a meatloaf using convection and it was superb. I do like that I have a choice of using the conventional oven or the convection oven. So happy with this purchase. I've had this range for 8 months and I love the even temperature of the oven and the BTU of each of the well-designed burners, but I am disappointed with how the enamel top started to bubble within weeks of use and has recently started to chip. I feel that for at least my unit the enamel was not applied or sealed properly. This issue and the often reported air fryer smoking issue (somewhat helped by keeping the air fryer temp at 400 or below) keeps me from recommending it. Good range that could be great.
