We bought this coffee maker a few weeks ago. My wife and I love it! The ability to choose pot or single cup is great. Our counter space is limited and the duo is so compact. The other product that has pot and k-cup side by side would not fit in our space. The insulated pot does keep the coffee hot but it's exterior is not warm. So, it can conveniently be placed on counter/table without worry. Also, cool to touch exterior is great if grandchildren are close by.
The best of 2 ways to make coffee. Love the space saving and able to put water on right side. I gave away my Keurig Elite because it was too hard to fill reservoir on left side under a cabinet. I make a pot of coffee when I am home and make a pod when I am on the go. Like the included mesh filter.
I love this Keurig model. You get both of best worlds with it. The K Cup single serve and the carafe for multiple cups of your favorite hot drink. This is my second K Duo Plus, and it is my favorite of all the Keurig's models I have purchased. Great style, design and quality.
Used Keurig for years, I was looking for a thinner version for my coffee bar. This works great and the pot for larger cup amounts keeps the coffee hot for at least 2 hours. That's how long mine lasts anyway.
This is the best machine ever!! The carafe keeps the coffee hot and the pot shuts off. It's smaller than the first one and so easy to use!! I want another one for another area!!
Replaced K-Duo that suddenly stopped working after 7 or 8 months. WONDERFUL warranty program and they sent free replacement quickly!!! Love a company that stands behind their product.
I bought this for weekend carafe. Works great (when I remember to push the start button, which my old maker didn't have). A more helpful spoon for ground coffee would be nice; clearer markings.
I've been using this product for about 2 weeks. I owned a previous Keurig which died too young, but I thought I would give another a chance since I do like the product. Makes an awesome cup of coffee and I love the easy fill of the new water reservoir. I love it. However, there are two things I wish would be changed. One, I wish there was some indication that the pot of coffee is done brewing. But the one thing I'm disappointed in is I purposely ordered this unit as it had a thermo carafe and I was hoping it would replace my ugly thermos that I currently put my coffee into. The thermo carafe is prettier, but it does not keep the coffee hot for very long. My thermos does a much better job. So I could have purchased a Keurig at 1/3 of the cost had a just continued using my thermos and skipped the thermo carafe. If you drink your coffee quickly in the morning, this shouldn't bother you - but if you are like me - i like to go back all day, plan to reheat your coffee in the microwave if you want it hot.
Had many cup oz. sizes and pots oz. sizes. The cup oz. sizes don't fit the cup though. I placed the water tank on and noticed it was missing a part. The tank does not stay attached. It does filter well. You do not need to use k cups which is a plus.
I love that I can use a pod through the week and the carafe on the weekends when hubby's home. It's also takes up less space than my Keurig 2.0 did. There are a couple of issues. (1) After using a pod for my one cup of coffee, I have to open the filter area for ground coffee and empty the water out. I guess it's from condensation from the hot pod water passing so close to it. (2) The unit slides way to easily for something that makes a hot drink and needs a better grippers on the bottom of it. (3) I miss the 4 cup selection not being available. After all coffee pods are used for the day, we always ran the lowest amount of water without a pod to clear the system of any fine coffee grounds from the pods. (4) The carafe top insert that has to be in place in order to use the carafe, doesn't come apart for cleaning. There is built up in a coffee mug/cup that is only rinsed day after day and not washed with a dish cloth. I worry about this happening inside of this insert. We use a straw cleaning brush on the inside tube part but can't get anything into the top portion of it. It needs to be redesigned for proper cleaning.
