This is the first sunblock I've found that absorbs quickly enough that I don't mind reapplying on the go. I love it. I have a community garden and have always hated putting new sunblock on and being sticky for 20 minutes while I'm trying to work in the dirt. So I've skipped applications in the past and have sun damage to show for it. I've used it for over a year and have never had a problem with it, even though my skin can be sensitive sometimes. There are a few ingredients that could be irritants for some, and the level of oats doesn't seem like it would have much soothing effect, but if its a product I will actually use then its doing its real job - which is protecting me from broad spectrum sun damage. I think that's a big deal. My husband loves it too.
I am so upset not to be able to buy the Ultra-calming lotion with spf 30. My dermatologist gave me samples, and it is the ONLY facial sunscreen I have ever used that did not make my face itch! Loved it! The new Naturals line does not have the same properties or effect. I will be looking elsewhere again :(
I bought this product to use on my face during a recent trip to the Caribbean since most other sunscreens leave my skin too oily. I loved the scent and the way it felt going on (rubbed in smooth and didn't leave my face overly shiny) but it did cause the skin on my cheeks and around my temples to burn awfully. Although it did it's job and I didn't get sun burned I will be searching for a different sunscreen brand next time that reacts better to my skin.
My sensitive face NEEDS Aveeno's former sunblock product, Face SPF 30. The ''new'' Aveeno SPF 30 product does not work -- it is not for sensitive skin, causes rash, pimples, and is greasy. Aveeno corporation -- please listen to your ''loyal users'' and bring back Aveeno continuous protection Face SPF 30.
Three weeks ago, I bought this product in Banff CANADA and apply on my face,neck,arms and legs....After 2-3hours, my skin started burning, itching, painful with full of red rush. The next day, redness and blisters went out! I am still suffering from the skin peeling and crusting right now. The doctor said it might need another 10days to be recovered and horrible scars will be exited for lifelong....
At first I was really excited about this sunscreen because it felt so light and not greasy. But the next day I broke out in a horrible bumpy rash all over my neck and shoulders. I don't understand this type of "Faux naturals" brand, after reading the ingredients list I will never buy from them again. It contains Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octocrylene, Octisalate, and Oxybenzone, which are all potentially harmful chemical filters. I have never had a rash like this from a skin product before.
I tried this new oat-based sunscreen and WILL NOT USE IT. Continuous Protection was the perfect lotion/sunscreen for my skin, used it for years and nothing else. Daily. It was perfect for everyday use, my sensitive skin loved it AND I never got burned, even in Florida sun. It was the ONLY sunscreen I've ever found that I am happy with. BRING BACK CONTINUOUS PROTECTION!
Your new product is extremely greasy, and made me break out. I'm 48 years old and have not had a pimple in years, until using your new formula. It also runs into your eyes when you sweat, which the Continuous Protection never did. The smell is too strong too, i loved the old scent. It was light and refreshing. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the old formula.. I will be switching to Neutrogena now :(
Can't believe that the one and only sunscreen that worked perfectly on my greasy skin and left it acne free and matt is discontinued for this piece of cr*p. Why would you replace something that worked amazing with this dysfunctional greasy, acne-causing formula????? Why????? BRING BACK THE OLD PRODUCT PLEASE PLEASE. :'( :'( I almost CRY everyday when I see that my perfect sunscreen (oil free spf 30) is no longer available :'(
I've been through two bottles already but I learned with the first bottle that this product can't be put on your face. It goes on smooth enough. The Hydrate portion and yes, my skin felt protected. However, this stuff gets oily fast. And I already have oily skin in the T zone area. But I put this product on my body... legs especially and it works good. I just finished the second bottle and won't buy another. I need something I can use on my face and body.
