I bought this swing set for my daughter for her second birthday. My husband and I put it together fairly easy in just a few hours. Some directions were a little hard to follow, as it did not tell you which way certain bars should go (ex. should holes in bar next to slide face towards swing set or away from swing set, bars for the climbing wall platform had different ends and didn't clarify which end went which way) So after having to take a few things off and turn them around, we finally got it together. Some of the parts were mislabeled as well (handle for climbing wall was labeled A15 when in directions it was called A12). We also had one of the caps pop off of the mister so now just a steady stream of water shoots out instead of mist. But other than that it is a great swing set, my daughter is a little small for it but she loves it anyway.
Looks great and the kids love it! We live in a high desert climate and wood swing sets fade, splinter and crack, but metal sets often look cheap and are hot! With plastic seats and slide, sun shade and misting system this swing set is perfect. The directions are fairly clear and I was able to build it without any help in just a couple evenings after work. The kids love it and our neighbors have been impressed with how modern and stylish it looks.
We've only had this product for about a week & we haven't hung the glider up yet because we were missing some screws. Overall it was fairly simple to put together. The triangular section with the climbing rope was a little tricky & we had to get some extra muscle to force the pieces in the right place to get the screws in. Took us 2 days to get it all together but we weren't in a big rush. My kids love it. They are 6, 3 & 1. It is kinda small so I think the 6 year old will out grow it fast. I wish there was room for 2 swings but they will learn to take turns. It has enough activities to keep them busy. Haven't hooked up the misting system yet or the canopy. Afraid the wind will just tear up the canopy. I can't imagine it staying on well.
I am mom of 2 kids. One 4 and one almost 2 year old. This was very difficult to set up because the pictures were confusing when it came to the rope climb little triangle place they can climb up and sit on. The part on the triangle that is flat goes against the rope wall and it took us a while to figure that out cause it seems the cut out parts should go against the tall rope wall. Instead the cut outs were for the velcro mesh net on the side. In addition the metal in some places were very difficult to fit together. My husband who is used to manual labor had to push really hard many times to make it fit. I couldn't have done it on my own or with a less manly guy. It did come together and is an awesome sturdy structure for my kids who want to play on it all the time. Took us about 8-9 hours to set up.
It is a really nice looking play set that offers different forms of exercise activity. We haven't yet hooked up the mist kit, but we think it is a wonderful idea to combine this with a canopy (still as yet not installed because of damaged velcro strap- we will contact the company for a replacement). It took a total of 18 (6hrs X 3 guys) man hours to put it together, so although it is inexpensive be aware of additional set up costs. We switched out the regular seat for a toddler bucket seat, and we hope that the swivel standing platform is a hit, because the space can not be re-purposed for a regular swing it my son doesn't like it. But so far, so good. The trampoline is a nice freebie, so overall this play structure is quite reasonable in price, and great for someone who enjoys putting parts together. My husband and a contractor (with his son) pieced it together and they complained that the hardware isn't well labelled..... I would however recommend this play unit to others....
So hard to follow instructions! Rock climbing part EXTREMELY HARD to put together because the rope climbing balls are not labeled,but it is labeled in the instructions.The second level of the rock climbing platform must only be done by a strong person in order attach to frame.The screws,nuts,bolts,caps,and all the other little parts are shrink wrapped into this paper cardboard and are impossible to get out,plus are so close together that when you pull one out their is no way to tell if you are grabbing a the right screw.My husband has been doing construction for almost 20 years and has traveled the United States and said that this was the hardest thing he has ever had to do in his life.Be prepared for several hours of troublesome labor.When we first got it it is impossible to do a part check because some of the bags containing smaller metal parts were not in the bag, therefore we had no idea if all parts were there.Then we put together the trampoline there was 1 hour gone,then the next day from 12pm to nightfall,(nightfall about 8:30pm) and the playground is still not together.The slide, canopy, and misting feature is still not on it.To top it all off they give no extra parts like washers or screws or any of the hardware, mind you it is put together outside, so now we have to get ONE SCREW in order to finish the rock climbing part. I can not believe for that price you get no extra screw or washer or hardware.The steps to the slide are made of metal which is great,I just wished they had coated it with something that would give it some kind of grip for the children. The sit n spin has two metal rods at the bottom that attach to the frame and are a big tripping hazard which now I have to go by foam pipe covering so that my child does not trip and break his teeth or skull on the frame.Even though it is still not put together my child is happy about his playground,and that is all that matters!The playground really tested my husband and I communication skills lol.
Item was no good at all. Many pieces missing. Very unsatisfy with the product.
I'm starting to think this is some kind of joke. I ordered the swing set 3 weeks ago, it came in and we try to put the thing together.. its missing 4 out of 5 total legs, amongst a lot of other parts. Too many to mention. I have been calling their customer service line for 3 days and the message always says the office is closed. This was a total waste of money and a huge disappointment for my boys. I do not recommend that anybody purchased a swing set from this company.
Did not receive everything to put it together
Well in only 3 days the top ripped and as soon as we turned on the water to the misters the tubing blew out.. not happy with this swing set at all.. definetly not worth $400.00.... we are very dissatisfied ..
