[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is super quiet. When I used it for the first time I was not convinced it was running. I literally couldn't hear much coming from the machine. I opened it a couple times because I didn't believe it had water in it or that it was running. I was wrong. It was running but it was so quiet I couldn't tell. The cleaning power of this dishwasher is better than any other dishwasher I've used. It leaves my dishes clean and spotless the majority of the time. I've had a couple experiences where some items didn't come out clean but I'm finding that it had more to do with properly loading the dishes than a performance issue. As long as the dishes are loaded correctly I don't really have any issues with dishes not getting clean. The touch control pad is super easy to use and I love that they're located on the top of the door instead of the front. It helps keep little ones from messing with the control pad. I love that it has several different wash features. The auto wash with hot temp wash is the daily run cycle I use. I love that it has a sanitiation option for really gross items and a quick 60 minute wash option for smaller loads. The storm wash feature is amazimg for stuck on or cooked on food particles. It works really well to remove grime. I also love that my dishes come out spotless (I use rinse aid) and almost completely dry. No more time spent soaking towels while drying the dishes by hand! The fingerprint resistant black stainless steel color is beautiful and easy to wipe down and keep clean. The style is beautiful and modern. This dishwasher is wonderful. It is one of the best machines I've ever used. It works so much better and is so much quieter than machines I've used or owned before. I recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a new dishwasher for their home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is really amazing. I did the first wash and used the normal cycle with Stormwash. I had let some dishes sit from the night before to do my cleanliness test. My dishes had everything from blueberry smoothies, greasy pots, dried peanut butter on spoons to spaghetti sauce in bowls. The normal cycle with Stormwash took about 3 hrs. A really cool feature is the digital display timer that counts down the wash cycle time. When I first hit the power button, it gave a nice chime and the blue indicator lights came on. I selected the wash cycle and then hit start. I didn't hear anything. I stood there looking baffled because I had did the install myself and I was sure everything was connected correctly. All I heard was silence. Then I wondered if the water valve was open, I checked and it was. So no issues there. I waited to see if I would hear any movement of water or a sound..but nothing. Then I put my ear to the dishwasher because I didn't believe it was working. I could hear the water softly filling the machine, but only when my ear was against it. It was phenomenal. I had never had such a quiet dishwasher. I felt silly to doubt myself and I really thought I had done something wrong with the install..but I was Soooo wrong! The dishwasher is Quiet as a Whisper! One other feature that is great is the Auto Release functionality, this is where the dishwasher will automatically open near the end of the cycle to vent and help dry the dishes faster. This will happen about 5-15 min before the end of the wash cycle. Another great feature is the finish is fingerprint proof. It will not transfer your fingerprints if it's touched, you will see a very faint impression if you have water or liquid on your hand, but not if your hand is completely dry. This for me is nice, which means not always having to keep wiping it after every touch. I am extremely pleased with the overall functionality and the top control design. This model has a recessed handle which gives it a sleek smooth appearance and modern look. Samsung you have out done yourself once again!

Not only does it look good, but it is quiet and makes my dishes sparkling clean. There are many options for cycles, and I love that the controls are on the top of the door so they don't get pressed accidently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung has out done it with their top control, sleek, fingerprint resistant, StormWash dishwasher DW80R5060. Not only did it make my dishes cleaner it has attractive appearance to it. Some of the smart features that I like are as follows: StormWash- this area concentrates on those hard to clean pans or dishes. It has a removable plate support that accommodates these large pots. Sanitize button- this button allows u to sanitize dishes and gets the temperature to 163 degrees. Lower rack- this button I for when u just need to clean a few dishes. You just load up the bottom area and wash. Rinse indicator light- it's an icon that lights up right next to the time to let you know you need to add some more rinse aid. So no more wondering. Control lock- having kids makes this nice because you don't have to worry about them pushing anything it locks. Delay start- You can delay start this for up to 24 hours. This is nice especially if u got to go to work and u have a few things running and your not quite ready to start. With this dishwasher there is a third rack called the cutlery rack it can be removed but it works awesome for my wash needs. No more taking up space where u have loaded your cups. It also has groves for forks, spoons, and knives. It's a breeze grabbing them to put away because you don't have to worry about them getting stuck inside the utensil basket. This dishwasher is constructed well it is stainless steel and fingerprint resistant. The design is not only sleek but clean. There are no buttons on the front. They say less is more. The racks are durable and in areas removable. I have ran this dishwasher several times and asked myself is this on. It is so quiet I was questioning myself. I could see the light indicator light was on. When it was done the door opens to help with the drying process. This is a great feature for me but if you say u had a refrigerator next to it this wouldn't work but on the positive side you can delete the setting that activates the door to open. This is a nice feature so kids don't accidentally bang the refrigerator door into it. I definitely have more storage than I ever did on my other dishwasher and my dishes have come out clean and sanitized. It makes me feel better as a mom and a nurse that all those germs are gone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher was part of a suite of new Samsung appliances that came with the house I purchased 6 months ago. I have to load it very carefully and always run the Heavy cycle, and yet it still leaves some plates and bowls with spots of dirt.
This is a good dishwasher but after only 3 years of owning it the middle and bottom racks have rusted. Some of the prongs have rusted gaps so bad you can see through them! Unfortunate Samsung's warranty is only 12 months. Go with a different brand that will last longer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 weeks, have tried all of the settings, and even different detergent. it does not clean. after two full heavy-duty cycles on high-temp wash the dishes are almost clean.
This is the second samsung dishwasher I have purchased. The 1st one had a fan problem that couldn't be fixed, I received a credit and bought another dishwasher and upgraded so I had to pay 233.00. I have had this one since December 2021, the LC code starting coming 8 months after I had it, they replaced the gasket. Came on 2 months later replaced the assembly. It is back on again and Samsung refuses to help me. I even spoke to a supervisor and they said there was nothing they could do it was out of warranty.
This is the worst dishwasher in existence. Do not buy it, half of my dishes come out dirty and get to go through the wash again. Or I hand wash. And I clean them off beforehand, so disappointed. I've had numerous dishwashers and this is by far the worst.
