I use these socks for yoga & pilates. More recently I have used them as socks. I had an issue with a swollen toe from a walking too fast downhill. The toe separation has helped to heal that toe.
These are the best ever for having solid footing on slippery floors for working out or yoga or anything!
I like these for protecting my toes. My big toe started getting worn down from Ashtanga repetitive movements and sometimes not using a yoga mat. I like being barefoot, but am appreciative of the protection these give and my feet feel kind of nice after I do yoga in them for the rest of the night. I have accidentally twisted my toes in them though, slightly in wide-angle forward bend for example. I hand wash them every 3-5 uses and only wear them when doing yoga to keep them nice, but some threads have started to come loose.
Very cute, however putting on the individual ties made it a bit difficult but you manage at the end.
I use these during my morning yoga routine since I'm usually cold and they definitely keep my feet snug and warm! However, certain poses (Warrior I for example) create some uncomfortable pinching in the middle toes so I find I have to take them off during most practices unfortunately. Wash well though.
I had never tried toe socks, and imagined they would be pretty uncomfortable. I found that the material is thin and stretchy enough not to be too uncomfortable. My feet are small, so the toes are a little long for me, but because the material is thin I can push it down without too much bunching. I like being able to get a grip on smoother surfaces. Having a better grip, whether it's with a mat or socks, helps keep you safe.

These socks stick very well but I found them a bit difficult to put on with the individual toes and my two smallest toes on each foot came out while doing yoga. I'm sure this is trust of all exercise socks with toes and I would opt for toesless next time. Good quality. Just not for me.
I'm surprised by the poor quality and construction of this product. The fit is too tight across the toes. They are difficult and time consuming to put on. The fabric is thin and cheap. Simply put, these sock do not meet the standards I've come to expect from Gaiam.
I ordered black socks with small pink dots as pictured on the website. However, I received socks with large puke- puce dots. Very disappointing.
