I have had my 3-18x44 Tango6 for about six months now. I mounted it on a Custom Mega Maten 308 AR-10 MSR. I have shot it at the range several times and took it on a five-day hog hunt in south Texas where I took seven hogs. It has worked well in all conditions I have encountered. It also held zero after 200 miles in a hard case on my ATV during my hunt. This is the best FFP reticle I have ever used. Most are too small when on low power and too thick on high magnification. This one works well throughout the 3-18x power range. The glass is great and the turrets have a nice solid tactile click when adjusting. The zoom ring and parallax adjustments are also smooth with proper resistance. I would highly reccomend this scope for anyone looking for a medium to long range optic for their rifle.
I bought this for my SIG716 and it is an amazing rig! Ranged it in for 200 yds and I couldn't be happier with the scope.
I was on the fence. Not only about what magnification I wanted, but about which brand. There are quite a few established brands out there, so narrowing it down wasn't easy. Once I decided on magnification, the final choice came down to a combination of factors. In the end, it was Sig's combination of both features, and quality, that made my decision, and I couldn't be happier! It's the perfect scope for my Sig Sauer Cross rifle. The Tango line of scopes should be on the short list of anyone looking for a high-end optic. Given the recent news, even the military agrees.
