Very nice star. Topped my tree just right. Simple design; not too "flashy" - lol. Looks like it should hold up for a long time.
Had looked in the past for a tree topper....this was perfect...when off looks like white crystals...when lit looks better than the picture on the website...
it was a little heavy which made it a little difficult to put it on top of the tree, but it finally worked out. great price and looks better than the pictures online. the only problem is that the power cord is VERY short(1' 6") and you will need an extension.
Have not used it on my Christmas tree just yet. Just got it last week, I ordered it online. Came in a big box well protected for shipping. Did try it out in a regular outlet, it lights up like it says. Not as sturdy as I would've hoped. But for the price it's what I expected. I will know soon what it looks like on my Christmas tree. But I think I got a great deal and a nice tree topper.
This star has energy saving warm white LED lights and has been a nice addition to my tree. Like others have mentioned, it is a bit heavy (I have this problem with all star topers) but I got around it by using the bottom to attach it to the tree with two white twist ties (my tree is white so it blends in - use green twist ties if you have a green tree) I also think it looks cleaner (more evenly white) than the picture on here shows. The lights are brighter on the outer tips of the star, but still creates an even, but lesser light on the inside area. But let me be clear, the tips of the star are brighter than the inside. It is still a nice clean looking star. Is it perfect? No. But for $10 I didn't expect it to be. I did a star theme this year and used clear Moravian star covers over warm white LED lights on a white tree, with black, silver and crystal ornaments. This star was the perfect piece to complete the look. I"m happy with it. Bottom line, if you need a nice clean looking star you cannot go wrong with this one for $10. I'll try to upload a picture below to see how it looks. It's a little saturated with brightness but you will see the area under the top point is less bright, that's how it looks evenly in the center area, but still looks good overall.
I'm returning this as it's to heavy for the tree branch. If you have a huge tree with thick branches then it would work. When I opened the box it looked like it was returned before.
At a little over $4.00 I expected something better since it was a clearance and normally almost $11.00. The glitter comes off easily and the enclosed lights are LED but are warm white. Also they are to be used indoor only and do not suit my intended use.
Cheaply made and poor quality. I returned it.
