Hey, suddenly in the last year I haven't been able to find this size sponge in grocery stores where I have always bought them--they are either half the size or with a scratcher on one side. These are hard to find on the internet as well, and these were the only ones equivalent to the name brand sponges I used to get. And they are, basically, equivalent. A little thicker (quite OK) and evidently a little easier to stain (who cares?). Had to buy 48, but they'll get used. If you like an old fashioned sponge and are frustrated that you can't find one in your grocery store--here is the answer.
You don't find this size in stores anymore. It is perfect for my hand. They work great for all cleaning needs.
I bought these because most other sponges out there are two small. They perform as expected of a sponge and I'm glad to have a whole box of them. Too soon to see how they will hold up, but I'm happy so far.
Great quality sponges in the larger size that no supermarkets carry but my husband requires. And he can have whatever size he wants if he's going to do the dishes! ; ) Good value too.
These sponges are perfect in every way, the hard-to-find size, the quality, and the price. A rare treasure.
