This hanger serves as a year round decorating tool for my Florida porch. Since it does really hold up to 5 pounds it serves well for my heavier decorations . Its durability speaks well for the command company. There is nothing cheap about this product. Its coloring blends well with most out door decor. I hate having to wait to have my husband put a nail in when I want to put things up.I needed something so I could hang up a coat on the back porch that is closed in. Found the out door large graphite hook and thought it would work nicely. I received this hook for free so that I could evaluate it, and I love it! I'm using it to hang a Christmas wreath on my iron gate and I'll buy more to hang garland around my doors. In the past, I used wire to hang the wreath and screwed-in hooks for the garland, but this hook is so much easier to attach and remove and I know it won't damage my gate or paint. Since it's weather-resistant, I know I won't have to worry about it falling off mid-season. The new Outdoor Product line is perfect if you're like me and like to decorate the outside of your house for Christmas. You'll find so many uses for them. I have not removed it but I have removed other indoor Command hooks and they remove as advertised. I am very happy with the outdoor products as well! I used the new Outdoor Large Graphite Designer Hook to hang my favorite wreath on our front door this year. I love that it stays stuck in our ever changing Buffalo, NY climate. This is my go to hook to hang my outdoor wreaths. We've had a particular windy and cold winter/spring and I haven't once had my wreath or the hook fall of the door. I recommend these to everyone I make wreaths for. Over-the-door hooks are clunky and don't always fit, so these are perfect!
Very disappointing. Doesn't stick to brick. Or painted wood. Tried two brand new ones on each surface. Hardly even sticky to the touch. You're better off just buying a whole roll of double stick tape for the cost but it wouldn't work either. Back to nails.
