It was very simple to set up. Only took about 10 minutes and I was filling it with water. Love that this came with the two covers. (Floating one and insulated one) I put down 2” insulation board with landscaping pad to help insulate the bottom. I do believe if you set it directly on the ground or concrete a lot of heat would be lost. The bottom is fairly thin. Very impressed with the heater, only took about 10 hrs to reach a 102 from 54 degree starting point. Holds temp very well once covers come off. I am getting an average loss of about 2-3 degrees in roughly a 15-20 minute period then it plateaus off. Love the bubble jets from the bottom, plenty of power. Only issue I have with the bubbles is there is only on and off. No adjusting the amount of air flow. Wouldn't mind seeing and air control adjustment. Sometime you just want to sit and relax with minimal bubbles. It's been about a week and it hasn't lost any air or stiffness as far as I can tell. For the price you can't go wrong. Once again it's only been about a week but so far I would highly recommend this 6 person tub. Now if I could just finish getting the wood up on the walls of my patio life would be good 😊
