My husband is on a special diet and rice flour is the ONLY flour he can tolerate right now. I make roti and it is the staple of lunches (although I use less water than is suggested on the package recipe). We now use roti instead of bread and like it better. I also use it for zucchini patties and meatballs. The product is consistent, and I have bought a LOT over the last few months. The only problem is when my store is out, but I have bought online by the case. Not sure what we would do without it.
Great flour. Being Gluten free due to sever gluten allergy I make most of our food from scratch. Having great ingredients makes a difference. I only have had good experiences with Bob's Red Mill flours and relay on them to have delicious food that keeps me healthy and my family happy.
I have used Bob's Red Mill gluten free flours for many years. See pictures and recipes on instagram Jan's Recipes! Thank you, Bob's Red Mill, you are the best!!
I use this to line bannetons for proofing sourdough bread and it works great. The dough pops right out with no sticking whatsoever, and this bag has enough to last a very long time. I dust the bannetons with a combination of this and AP flour, which works WAY better than AP flour by itself.
We like to cook with Bob's Red Mills products! We make cauliflower and corn pizza crust gluten free. We also have used tapioca flour.
Love it, I use it to make dog treats for my dog who has kidney failure.
We started a dog treat business 4 years ago. We exclusively make gluten free dog treats. We use Bob's Red mill oat and white rice flour. The treats always come out the same texture, consistency, and color. We wouldn't use any other flours.
Over the moon with the texture and taste when using this flour in lieu of wheat for chocolate chip cookies! My nephews wheat intolerance was the instigator! Now all the neice sand nephews are hot on my tail for his cookies. . I'm spreading the Bob's Mill praises, down here in So California. Thank you.
I used this when I had just begun baking gluten free. I found the white rice flour to taste similar to regular white flour. I had to mix it with xanthum gum and it's best when mixed with additional flours as well. Overall, this is good option for GF flour.
I use Bobs rise flour often in my gf baking, but it really goes stale rapidly. I've gotten in the habit of putting it in the freezer as soon as I buy it, but still find stale bags. It affects the entire baked goods so this is not a minor thing. The bags go stale long before the expiration dates, we're talking six months or longer
