I found this a little hard to get used to but I kept trying and I like it best when it's been soaked in water overnight before using as tea. Thanks to this seller.
My Fenugreek seeds arrived in a very timely manner and were exactly what I had been looking and hoping for - sproutable!! I now have a jar full of great tasting sprouts. What a blessing! Keep up the great work of providing superior products to those of us who strive to live a healthy lifestyle.
Arrived earlier then expected. I love buying from food to live because I can buy in bulk for cheap and it usually comes before or on time. I'm really glad I can always tell almost exactly when it'll be here. My horse depends on it. ?
I studied up on how to make these seeds soft enough to eat and it's really simple after the 1st time!! The bag says serving size is 1ounce (28 grams), yeah right, how much is that? Researched and found one TBSP of these seeds is 11 grams. So, I put 5 tbsp's of seeds in a jar and then put enough water in that was about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch above the dry seeds. Put the top on the jar and let them sit for about 5 hours on the counter. After I saw them getting bigger there was enough water, I then placed them in the fridge overnight. Then I took a tbsp in the morning afternoon and evening to get to 33 grams per day. 4 days later I still haven't finished the first 5 grams of dried seeds. So, they expand enough you get a lot of value!! The ad, when I purchased and after I bought, said 1 pound, but I only got an 8-ounce bag. Since I never bought them before I wasn't too mad, next time I'll take my time and select the actual 1-pound bag option. It's deceiving when they put 1-pound in the title with an 8-ounce price! But they're very easy to eat and I like them a lot, and they do keep cravings down!! I'm thinking they even expand in my stomach because I'm not hungry until very late in the day after eating nothing morning and afternoon but the 3 tbsp's of these seeds!!
Thank you for providing quality food. I have bought both your Organic Brown Jasmine Rice and your Fenugreek seeds for sprouting, and they both are fresh, aromatic and a good deal when bought in larger quantities. Thank you!
Methi/Fenugreek seed appears to work well in lowering glucose levels and counteracting insulin resistance. It should be noted that it does not work uniformly. Some times it works better than other times. Product arrived earlier than expected.
I don't EAT this product. I use it in an DIY Aryuvedic Hair Oil I learned to make from CurlyProverbs, a YouTube Vlogger. It works amazingly well and my hair growing back as CP said it would. I don't love the smell but I don't hate it either. Also, the price and shipping were great.
Arrived quickly. I haven't sprouted these as of yet as I am diabetic type 2 and although they will probably help keep my BS down ... I am taking my time to experiment with this.
I wanted organic, but I mistakenly ordered these instead - coz the picture and visuals are the same for both! Would help if there was a more obvious differentiation.
It's a little expensive. Maybe should be a little lower, based on the large quantity. Still, the quality is good. I grind fenugreek with flax seeds into a fine meal and put two heaping tablespoons into my steel cut oatmeal & berries EVERY morning. A great addition to an already healty start to my day.
