My first sourdough with Kamut was so tasty and full of flavor that I think I will make Kamut my go to flour for sourdough baking. I even made my starter with kamut.
I bake a bread with the Kamut Khorasan Wheat flour and all of my family loves it . I am very grateful with the quality of the flour and the fast delivery.. 😊😊😊
I only recently came to the knowledge of ancient grains. I am now making all our bread. We love the taste of the Kamut flour. Fun fact: within 5 days of being off modern wheat flour my husband stopped snoring. We were thinking of gut health improvement so that was entirely unexpected!
I love this ancient grain, it’s so healthy for your stomach opposite to the modernized wheat. I love the fact that I can get it from Food to live in bulk. Seeing I’m constantly baking for my family and myself. I strongly recommend this product sold by food to live.
I've been baking bread with organic flours for years, but this was the first time I used Kamut Khorason, and the flavor difference was amazing: fresher with more nuanced flavor. Even my teenage son noticed!
I am not gluten sensitive, I just like using an ancient grain wheat flour that has not been modified or hybridized. Kamut whole grain flour is delicious, different from whole wheat in flavor, and I use it in everything. It is a bit more dense and has a mild flavor that I love. Good protein and fiber content. Anyone looking to try alternative flours should give Kamut a try.
This is such a healthy wheat flour. It has a higher percentage of protein and fiber than traditional whole wheat. I'm so happy to find it.
As you all know, Kamut has been difficult to come by, at least locally for me, and it is expensive. I found this five pound bag to be a good value. It is also a grind that I like. It is what I use primarily for my sourdough starters and it works very well for that purpose.
I greatly appreciate having this product available since it is the only wheat product that I am able to eat. The price is steep, but if I want to eat toast in the morning I don'e have much choice.
I wish you could have sent the flour. You folks sent me a 10 pound bag of Whole Green Lentils non gmo. When I get the flour I’ll let you know how good. The lentils are great. I’ll keep the lentils . Just a few dimes difference.
