I have naturally dark brown hair, and wanted a color that would result in a rich red, and this product did just the trick! I didn't get any strange color, and the color is rich, shiny, and looks very natural. I love this product, and I will definitely use it again in the future! Definitely 5 stars!
I have been trying to find a light blond hair color for years that matched my hair color when I was in my teens and 20's....Excellence-to-go Light Natural Blonde is a perfect match. It is never brassy or too much ash, it is absoutely PERFECT!!! I LOVE IT....PLEASE don't stop making this product and color..,,.ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Left my hair in wonderful condition. Gave wonderful coverage of my grey. I have long hair and it took a while to apply. It did come out too dark but was better after a couple of washings. I would like to know how to lighten it a little. I am wondering if I should try the lighter reddish brown shade.
This color comes out way too dark and more of a moroon shade then reddish brown! I am heading to the salon to try and rescue myself from a color I did not expect and do not like! It does cover gray well, Iwill give it that! My suggestion would be to go way lighter than you think you want!
I was looking to get a blonde-ish hair color. My hair is a dark blonde/light brown and I didn't have a lot of time. I applied the product as directed...and nothing really happened. My hair is a little more brassy, but it's like a brassier version of my own haircolor. Definitely dying over this with L'Oreal Excellence Creme.
I was lured in by the quick processing time. I have used Preference in the past and have been very happy with the results. This time I purchased Excellence to Go in my usual color, Medium Golden Brown. The product was used as directed and the result was very very dark brown without any type of golden tone. It was quick and the smell is pleasant but I am not happy with the results.
I am sorry to say I am disappointed in this L'Oreal product (first in many, many years). I think the 10 minutes was the problem; 5-7 minutes to do the roots and another 5-7 for the remaining hair. I was already over the the processing time! I am going back to Preference!
I love L'oreal products and have used "Excellence" hair color many, many times. However, this time I used the "Excellence to go" product, and although I used the same exact shade, it came out so dark I could just cry. I have rather long hair, and it took awhile to apply it all, so I'm just guessing but I think that's why it's so dark. The gray coverage is awesome, though!
This product is way too thick for a 10 minute color. It was so hard to squeeze out of the bottle that after about 12 minutes, I had to just start dumping it in my hand because i was already past time to wash it out. I finished squeezing it through my hair and left it on for another 4 minutes so hopefully the ends that had just gotten color would have time to absorb it. Now my roots are more mahogany than red and the length is black (yes BLACK!) and blonde striped since it didn't cover evenly.
