The ProForm Pro TC bike has been a great addition to our home gym, and I would highly recommend the bike and the iFit platform. It's super easy to hop onto this bike and knock out a class before I start my workday, iFit offers a ton of classes and I'm able to mix up my workout types to keep things interesting. The frame is sturdy, you can quickly change between resistance levels, and the touchscreen is quick and easy to navigate. The pedals that come with the bike work just fine, no complains, we will probably switch our pedals to clip-ins sometime soon. This bike brings back an aspect of my work out that I had been missing since the start of the pandemic as I haven't attended an actual spin class in a year. Assembly was quick and easy, I put this together by myself in about 45 minutes, and I spent about 10 minutes syncing to Wi-Fi and iFit. I was able to Bluetooth the audio to my gym speakers, which is great as the iFit classes have pretty good soundtracks that include current and upbeat music. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
I love that I am new to indoor bike riding and this comes with an awesome 1 yr membership to Ifit which got me hooked. You still can ride without the membership but why not! Its a yr of happiness and new adventures right in your home. I did changed the seat within the 1st week for one with more cushion.
I really enjoy thia bike and the ifit. I did a lot of research and found bikes with no monitors for this price. Thankful I stumbled along this one.
This bike makes a great addition to your home gym! I currently have a gym membership at a local gym but my little one makes finding time to work out vary daily. This bike is nice and compact enough to fit up against the wall and has wheels that make it easy to move when ready for use. The instructions says to use two people when assembling so that you can connect parts and threat wires. I did not use a second person and it was not difficult to do on my own. Assembly took about 30 minutes. My favorite feature about this bike though is the iFit programming. I have really enjoyed working out with the bike using the programs. You can choose to do a program with a trainer, just ride through different landscapes, and even tune in to attend a live studio workouts!! I love the programming because it automatically changes the settings on the bike for you as you progress through the workout! Im excited to see what all this thing can do. I have only completed a few workouts, but the ones I have done really get your heart pumping! It even comes with little 5lbs. weights you can use too. The only thing I would recommend is a seat cover or some bike shorts, as the seat is white and pretty firm. This doesn't keep the bike from working or change my opinion of it in any way, it's just more comfortable with a seat cushion. I would highly recommend this bike if you're in the market for a good piece of equipment that won't break the bank! I'm an avid gym goer, but hate doing cardio at the gym. I want to spend my time lifting heavy things. This was the perfect exercise bike for me and my family. It was a snap to assemble and the 12 month membership to iFIT really helps me stay motivated to keep up with cardio. It's like having a spin class at home.
This bike!
Over the past 10 years I've had various gym memberships and I have put in a 30-minute cardio workout every other day on the various cardio equipment there. This bike performs equal to and in many ways better than most of those commercial gym models. The Pro-Form Pro TC Bike is sturdy. It is stable. It's pedaling action is very smooth and surprisingly quiet. (I'm very happy to be able to have my early morning workouts without having to worry about waking-up my wife and 4 children—a serious Win-Win!). I also enjoy the silver and black appearance and the efficient design, so it doesn't take up a lot of space. The color touch screen/console is simple to use, and it has a built-in speaker that puts out a quality sound. My favorite feature is the iFIT workouts. The console set-up was easy. Once I connected to my wifi it automatically downloaded the iFit app that connects to the bike. The video library is amazing. The best part is having a personal trainer at my side in each of the video workouts/rides. It's really cool to virtually cycle in places like Shiriato Falls in Fujinomiya, Japan, the streets of Paris and just this morning I completed a ride along Painapo Beach in the French Polynesian Islands. Through the Bluetooth connection my bike's resistance syncs to the terrain that the ifit video workouts cover/show. I'm really looking forward to putting it to use during these winter months when outdoors for rides are impossible due to this region's weather. Some additional information: 1) I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. 2) The instructions encourage you to assemble the machine with two people. I was able to assemble it myself in about an hour. The step-by-step instructions were precise and helpful. 3) The seat on the bike is sleek and firm. (Biking shorts are recommended for longer rides!) 4) This is a quality product that enables me to get in a great work out in each day in the comforts of my home.
Overall I love the bike! Good price, quality product, smooth ride and included iFit subscription is great for finding motivating trainers and workouts. Minor issues include very uncomfortable seat, but I replaced it with a wider, gel cushioned one. Screen doesn't always respond to initial touch and takes 2-3 tries sometimes. An on/off switch would be better than having to unplug it between uses. I'd buy it again!
Love iFit but having the most terrible luck with proform. Received this bike and update would not occur due to a defect. Received new console from proform and attempted to do first workout and it was atrociously difficult and a terrible clicking sound. Now a new motor is on its way. Treadmill wasn't much better as within 4 months new console and motor were sent to me and over a month later no technician has even set up the date for repair.
Software Crashes all the time. Video quality is not good even though I have a one gig fiber internet and the bike is 12 feet away from the router. I would not recommend this bike for anyone. iFit is half baked product. Look for another bike.
