The desk is beautiful assembled. The assembly was easy enough that with help, my 11 year old put it together (His dad guided as well as hammered). My only real complaint is that the laminate chipped away on some of the corners. They were hidden under and inside cabinets, so we decided not to return the desk, but that was a bit disappointing.
This desk looks great and seems very sturdy. The only problem I had was that we had to drill holes to make the drawer slides attach correctly (they didn't line up). With this being pressed wood, we were concerned about doing so. Overall I am very pleased with this product!
