I purchased this for my 5 year old grandson. He loves drawing things so I thought this would be perfect for him. He immediately started creating interesting designs then going into a dark room to display it. It comes with 6 plastic disks that can be wiped off and be ready for a new design. It also comes with special markers that make it easy to erase. I really recommend this for any child that likes to be creative.
He drew a butterfly for me and we watched it fly on the ceiling.
This is a wonderful product. My grandchildren and I had a great time drawing pictures and then looking at them on the ceiling.
I bought this for my 8 year old grandaughter. It took us 5 minutes to assemble and projects on the ceiling or on the wall. My Grand daughter is easily distracted and frustrated so this toy is great for her due to it's ease of use. She loves to play school and uses this as her teacher overhead projector. I also ordered this on Walmart.com (as it was sold out at store) it came with in days, shipping fee was very low and Crayola offering a $3 rebate as well.
A great product for spelling word reviews. The children use it as a tool for school work. A fun way to help with learning.
Toys Like the sketcher, drives their creativity and is very educational at the same time. My grandchildren love crayola toys and they are made very well. This is a Christmas present so they haven't played with it yet, but we have given them various crayola toys in the past. The drawback is sometimes they are somewhat expensive.
I was excited about this product coming for Christmas for my son. He is almost 9 years old and he loves to draw. He likes it quite a bit, but I think the drawing area is a bit too small. You cant really get any detail in the pictures. I know you can layer the sheets too and we havent tried that yet. But it does project quite nicely. It is nice and bright on the ceiling or wall. The sheets do stick together, so when opening the package you may think you only have one, but they are thin and stuck together so you really do have 6. The only thing that would make this better is if they had some kind of storage in the bottom of the projector for the sheets, and maybe something around the side for the pens? The sheets will get lost very easily I am afraid, and so far I have not seen anything on how to replace them.

Good idea for the crafty, artsy child. This is a gift for Christmas but I think my granddaughters are going to love it.
The colors on the projected image do not show up bold and bright. The pictures on the box and online do not match the way the pictures appear on the wall - they are hard to see and the colors are not bright. I may return - my 5 year old wasn't too thrilled with it.
