I recently got a Karman wheelchair and these devices are a perfect fit, snap right into the frame. There is a little bit of play but that's better than too tight. The wheels are 1.5". Without anti-tippers, the chair could do a dangerous back-flip. These allow the chair to tilt 3" back, and you can feel secure putting weight on the back handles. If you need to go up steep inclines, pull the anti-tippers outward and flip-lock them upside down. They come with plastic spacer sleeves to use on different model chairs, which you can also use as cane-like ends if you want to remove the anti-tipper wheels. The length is adjustable for different height wheelchairs. My wheelchair seat is 18" high, and these work. I don't understand why ALL new wheelchairs don't come standard with anti-tippers. Even an experienced user is at risk of accident without them. We're left buying them from aftermarket sellers and taking the chance they will work with our model or brand, though wheelchair frames are supposed to have standard-diameter tubing.
The Drive Medical Adjustable "Universal" Wheelchair Anti-Tipper device did not fit the Drive Medical Wheelchair I purchased at the same time. Unusable, did not work at all.
