Great. Works perfectly for postpartum sitz baths.
It's a great idea to have a way to warm the water. Unfortunately, the bag and tubing design does not allow for moisture removal so that it is sanitary. Since moisture remains, bacteria grows, etc. I have tossed the bag/tubing into the trash.
Purchased for my husband he has gotten relief from it
Product picked up and in good condition.
Easy to use
This serves the purpose. A little less quality than I've seen in others but they are more expensive than this one. I haven't had this very long so don't know how long it will last. For the price this one is okay.
It is sturdy, but you have to lift up the toilet seat in order to use it, so you drop too low into the bowl :/
This item is well-designed, but made out of such thin plastic that my husband has only used it a couple of times, he's afraid it's going to break and drop him in the toilet, or injure him with a sharp piece of the broken plastic. I saw other sitz baths that were much more expensive, and I imagine they're made out of thicker plastic, but it's hard to find specs on the thickness of the plastic basin segment. Maybe I could judge by the weight of the item, which is usually posted so you can estimate shipping costs, although not knowing about the weight of the packing materials might make this method unreliable. They don't carry them in the store, so there's no way to inspect the item prior to making a purchase. If there was a medical equipment store in my area, I'd go there instead, which is what I recommend to anyone who had surgery , like my hubby did, or another medical condition that requires regular soaking of the derriere. Overall good design but made of substandard materials. If I wasn't going to get reimbursed by insurance, I'd already have returned the item to the store - if they deny the reimbursement, I will make the return.
