This grill is wonderful to grill food on since the heat distribution is even. It's easy to turn on/off and change the heat temp as well. Grill is a bit tricky to assemble but not difficult, though count on 1.5 - 2 hours to get it done. The side burner is level and works well as well so it's great for cooking pungent smelling dishes outside on a sauce or frying pan. Our first use was the July 4th lunch with burgers and grilled veggies. I cooked the burgers 6 minutes each side and they were perfectly done without drying out. My guests coplimented on how juicy the burgers were. The real test i think are grilling steaks and fish so i'll post comment next time i grill those 2 items, but so far very happy with this grill. The cleanup isn't bad either. The 3 pieces of grill racks come part and are fairly trim in size so i just bring them inside to wash at the kitchen sink. The only thing that's a negative is the shelf beneath the grill basin is 1/3 too short size wise, and does not completely catch drippings or splashes which fall from the grill. My workaround is i get a big sheet of foil and completely cover the bottom, so that once done it makes cleanup real easy - i just throw the sheet away. Bottom line - awesome grill. I highly recommend!
Product very easy to put together with exception of tightening 2 screws on side burner & other side, they are a bit tricky to get to. Instructions are easy to follow, no problems. Have used it a lot & it is great to cook on, the food turns out perfect! Easy to clean also, would recommend to all. (I do recommend purchasing a cover tho, the outside does show dirt easily. It takes a 60 inch cover.)
I've had this grill for about 2 years now and love it. A tree branch fell on it crushing it alittle and the wind fliped it several times and it still works like new. I live in pittsburgh and i never had a cover on it and i dont have one spot of rust at all.the grill cooks everything great gonna buy the same one again just hope no trees fall on it this time.
It is great. I am still learning to use it, never used a gas grill before. Everything is easy to understand and use and it cooks beautifully.
I bought this grill a few hours ago. I had it put together in less than an hour. It's pretty easy to assemble. Another set of hands helps, but not totally necessary. This page is incorrect. The BTU output is NOT 61,500. It's 48,000. I thought the store I went to was out of them, but the lady at Customer Service found it by the UPC, and said, "Here it is." I told her the site had a typo, and she apologized. "This IS the one you're looking for." I bought it anyway. I can't wait to try it tomorrow.
The grill was delivered quickly, but the box was badly damaged. Many of the parts were dented, and slightly damaged, but fortunately it didn't show once assembled or impair function at all. It's somewhat of a pain to assemble, but a great grill for your money. My good friend spent more than triple what I did to get a Weber. His grill is a little better, but not worth triple. Good control on this with 4 zones. It's not quite as hot over all as I would like, but works well, and slow cooks well also.
We recently replaced our old grill with this Brinkmann 4 burner and LOVE the grill itself.... However, when we received our grill it was pretty badly dented up and the thermometer didn't work. It was also missing the little rubber bumper that helps keep the lid from scratching the front of the grill. Like anyone would do, we called the manufacturer to use the warrenty to order some replacement parts and have had an absolute HORRIBLE experience from the very beginning. Not only are the customer service people at Brinkmann extremely rude, but they basicly accused us of breaking our grill (that we had only bought the day before# during assembly and wanting them to replace the broken parts for free. They asked us to send them several different pictures via email along with all the grill information which we gladly did; however after 3 weeks we still hadn't heard back from them!! I finally called Brinkmann back #I forgot to mention that when you call their customer service department the automated system takes your phone number and someone calls you back 3 or 4 hours later) and asked them about my email. Even after waiting 3 weeks they still had not even reviewed my claim!!!!!! The guy left me on hold for 20 minutes while he tracked down the other customer service rep who I had emailed so he could find my email and then came back on the phone only to tell me he was going to put me on hold again so he could go over my email. I set on hold again for 35 minutes!!!! When the guy finally comes back he says to me that he has reviewed my claim and they will gladly replace the missing/damaged parts BUT they are on back order and it will be 6-8 weeks before they will have another shipment because they are on back-order. He assured me that as soon as the shipment comes they will gladly send me mine but to allow 4-6 weeks ADDITIONAL SHIPPING TIME!!!!! He then wished me a great day and promptly hung up the phone. On the bright side, by FALL we may have a fully functional grill :0) *** My advise, if you buy this grill and there is a single bent, broken, or missing piece SEND THE WHOLE THING BACK! It will probably take you less time to get a new one than a replacement part!!*** The grill itself really does work wonderfully though! It cooks well and is super easy to assemble! We love ours even though it isnt very pretty right now.....
I bought this grill for my husband for fathers day from my 2 year old son. We had the grill for 1 week..even bought the cover for it...the grill is severely rusted. I contacted the company 3 times regarding this issue, expecting the grill to last longer than 1 week. Each time I call I get a different answer. They said rust is not covered under warranty even if it rusts in 1 week. The quality of a "stainless" steel grill to rust in 1 week is incredibly poor in my eyes!! The employees will not stand behind this product and will not replace my rusted grill. I even wrote a letter to the company and attached the pictures. They didn't even bother to call, email or write me a letter regarding this matter. Do not buy a grill from Brinkmann. For the money I put into it, I didn't receive quality!!!!
Had this grill for 2 summers and now it is toast. Burner covers rusted away, one burner rusted away, igniter not working. Normal use once or twice a week, Exterior stainless parts still look great but guts need replacing. Unfortunately you can buy a new grill for what the burners and cover plates cost. Cheap materials that dont last. Will not buy again.
Purchased grill in June. It had all the features I was looking for at a decent price. Rust - In three months, the burners and grates are not rusting, everything else is. Low grade fastners and poor quality weld material are causing even the stainless to rust. Cooking - large amounts of ventilation allow grilling to be performed on high only. Any flare-ups continue until meat is removed. The large number of burners and ventilation allow for more frequent trips to refill the tank. When the lid is lifted, it vents directly to the face of the griller until lowered. Recommend avoiding this one
