This thing does a great job cleaning. It's quiet and it spins the clothes so well it gets so much of the water out of the clothes they take hardly any time to dry. And the wireless connectivity between the washer and the dryer is an awesome feature. I am connected to Alexa and my phone.
So far, I'm really am happy with this purchase. I had my previous set for fifteen years. The main thing that sold me on this product was the great reviews, specs, and size. I wanted My comforter to be able to fit instead of going to go to the laundry mat. Very happy with this purchase.
Fast dry time. She loves steam feature. Haven't connected to wifi yet, but will soon. Convenient washer communication with dryer and phone app feature. Only complaint: had to do side-vent, but none are factory standard for this. But there is a kit for this and also can improvise from hardware store. Life will be getting easier. Some say, "A bit much for 2 people". Well I say, "Large capacity is better than laundromat". "Rugs, comforters, and quilts are no match". Our previous unit struggled with towels and jeans.
I think the best feature of hall is the fact that I don't even have to put in a dryer setting anymore. I just leave it connected to wirelessly mode and when I'm done with the washer I turn on the dryer it automatically knows the setting and all I do is push start.
The GE dryer with effortless drying excellence performance, and convenient features. It dries clothes quickly and thoroughly, even bulky items. With energy saving options and smart integration, it is a top choice for efficient and hassle-free laundry.
So far loving this dryer! Large tub allows plenty of room for clothes to tumble. Love how it communicates with the washer to know how long to dry clothes and adjusts the time to suit.
I have never had a dryer that dries so well! Half the time and noise level of any other dryer I've had. I also didn't think I'd use the steam feature, but wow is it a game changer! Wrinkles never stood a chance. Never knew I needed a smart dryer either, but I don't know how I survived without one! I am so glad I chose to go with this set. I am so happy with it.
My dryer works great overall. I like that it's electric and I was able to connect it to the waterline so it can steam clothes. A few things could be better; for example, when a I use the “Refresh” or “Derinkle” settings for steaming small or large loads. Refresh takes 20 minutes and Derinkle takes 25 minutes because the clothes are completely wet then dried; so technically, they aren't steamed. I wanted the steam option to save time on last minute ironing, but I can easily iron in less than 20 minutes. These steam options are not good for one or two items, they are the best for small and large loads as noted on the appliance. Also, quite often my dryer disconnects from Wi-Fi despite having a range extender in the next room. The WiFi signal is strong, but my Echo enabled devices have stopped announcing when the dryer is finished multiple times. When this option does work properly, I have it set not to announce after a certain time, which is helpful for family members that are resting.
Our family loved this washer and dryer set at first. After 1 year of use, all 3 of the drum baffles broke. With all the laundry I've done in my lifetime, I didn't know that was even a thing. One thing I did love was the 1 step feature on the washer that allows you to wash and dry a couple articles of clothing in the same machine with 1 button. That was a life saver on a number of occasions.
Why on earth would anyone design a dryer drum with loose metal clips on the inside? After running a first load of clothes in my new dryer, a pair of sweat pants came out with the drawstrings all twisted and coiled. I was perplexed because in the 11 years I owned a Samsung dryer, that never happened. I added towels from my second load and when I went to fold them, two towels were stuck to the front inside of the drum. After ripping the towels from underneath the clips, I realized the drawstring on the pants probably got caught on the clips and was grateful it wasn't a blouse caught in them. Two loads and this new washer/dryer set is going back, I've already ordered another Samsung. There were some nice things about this dryer (the filter is not one of them) but I won't mention any of them because the capacity to destroy clothes outweighs everything else.
