it was an easy install. exact replacement for OEM. Appears to work well but only have driven a few miles. Advance had a good price
It was a perfect fit and was surely needed
good quality and easy to install.
Was a drop in replacement
Installed on a 98 4Runner - I believe - so far doing well.
Glad to be able to find rare and odd Saab parts for my cars from Advance Auto Parts.
Works great as replacement for AC idler/tensioner pulley on my 99 4Runner. Fitment was as expected. Worst part is not being able to find a new tensioner when yours is seized and the bolt snaps. Replaced the broken bolt with a new one from the hardware store and liberal amounts of anti seize. Got rid of that worn bearing sound from AC belt.. What else can be said about a pulley?
Good replacement, easy to install.
Quiet but not as robust as the OEM part so I only rated it 4 stars
Used this product to replace the tensioner pulley on my 89 Toyota Supra. The design is different than OEM, but the effective dimensions (width and ribs) are the same. The pulley is lighter, and does not have a seating face for the bearing to be pressed against. I don't think this will be a problem, but it is an inferior design. The bearing concerned me - it was not nearly as smooth as it should be. It felt like there was some debris in the seal or something. I used it anyways because I was in a time crunch and it felt alright once installed, but i'll be monitoring it. The OEM used a better quality bearing, but mine had too much radial play. I'd use this part if you are in a bind and need it quick. Otherwise i'd order a higher quality replacement part.
