The space for the oven was limited so by replacing with the same brand it actually fit in the old space beautifully. This is our third Frigidaire microwave over a span of 20+ years. I like the Frigidaire brand. I like the one touch button for one, two or three minutes and the 30 second + button. Also the reheat feature is great. This one is stainless steel and is quite an upgrade for us. Looks beautiful and works great so far.

I will say this is one of my favorite appliances . You have four modes to pick from via the sound. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new microwave except for one thing. The light over the stove is downright wimpy! Instead of a light on each end, there's just one in the middle and it's not very bright. Shines down on the center of the stove, leaving the sides in a shadow. My fault for not checking more thoroughly before I bought. Otherwise, I really like the appliance.

For ease of replacement I chose this unit which was a direct replacement even using the same mounting hardware so no need to remove that or drill new holes. Unit is almost identical to the Gallery model we had so no need to relearn controls. The only thing that is very different is this unit is much louder, an annoyance that I will have to try and get used to.
