I love this organic cleanser! My skin is very sensitive and my skin loves this cleanser. I love the organic and natural ingredients! I have been using it in the shower along with the Desert Essence walnut scrub and my skin feels so good after. I keep my cleanser in the refrigerator because I like it cool on my skin but it’s not a must. Bottom line I would definitely recommend this cleanser! Thank you Dessert Essence!
I purchased this a month ago and am very happy with the product and the way it makes my face feel. I need to use a gentle cleanser on my face and this works great! It has a nice aroma and makes my skin feel very soft. I have even noticed a reductions in breakouts, but that might be a coincidence . . . Although I am also using the cleansing pads at night before bed. My skin seems brighter and almost "glows". Another great result is a reduction in redness. Overall, all of the results using this product are positive. I have already purchased a second and third bottle for guest bathrooms so that my guests can experience the same feeling of luxury that I have!
Absolutely love it! Decided to venture into the realm of natural and organic products and I am very happy with everything I purchased from Desert Essence. It is affordable and the organic cleanser AND the facial scrub I got are both gentle and perfect for my skin. (Also loving the toothpaste, deodorant and face moisturizer). I am thankful that such affordable and quality products exist as my initial research on finding organic products led me to believe I would have to spend a ridiculous amount on them that I was unwilling to. Desert Essence is fabulous:)
I have fragrance allergies, so I've missed having yummy-smelling products...not anymore! This stuff smells so good. My skin feels clean and smooth after washing my face. And you don't need to use a lot; a little goes a long way. I've got very sensitive skin, and this causes me no reactions!
This is the first time trying a body specific product from Desert Essence. I have been using the Coconut Body Wash almost exclusivelyon my face because of its scent, gentleness while cleaning everything it touches. When Amazon forced Wholefoods to stop restocking it, I knew I had to turn to the company for help and locations of where to find my favorite product. Well, imagine my surprise to find out that you have other and so many products. I am so happy about this discovery even after 3 years. Including everything else had a really yummy scent.
Been looking for a light, gentle cleanser and this one fits the bill. I don't get any stinging sensations afterwards. It doesn't leave my skin tight and dry. The cleanser has a citrusy scent but it smells nice. It feels my skin us thoroughly cleansed afterwards.
Three bottles I've gone through, so I'd say it's a fair test. I love it, it's gentle on my not so young anymore skin and it cleans without leaving my skin feeling tight. I've gotten some for gifts. It takes a very small amount to do it's job. Try it, you'll like it.
I bought this cleanser to try a new product by dessert essence. I used their hair products and lotion, so I thought why not try this as well. The description said it was great for sensitive skin and helped remove makeup, which I found appealing. Although, it is a great product it did not necessarily help with my dry skin. It actually made my skin a bit more dry, but if you pair it with their daily moisturizer and use a bit of it on your face you will be fine. As a make up remover its great for removing my foundation, but not so great for my eyeliner and mascara. So eh...use wipes or make up remover before washing your face with it. One last thing I accidentally got some in my mouth when rinsing my face and it didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth like most face cleansers would, it actually had a fruity taste to it .
The cleanser is nice to use and does not irritate my very sensitive skin. However it is very thick and gooey and over time built up in the drain pipe under the bathroom sink, clogging the drain. The pipe had to be removed and cleaned out. I have since poured half of the product into another container and added water to fill the bottle, which seems ok so far. If you buy this, I suggest watering it down by at least half.
I have extremely sensitive skin and I've always had a hard time finding a cleanser that wouldn't sting or burn as I'm washing my face or afterwards. I do like this cleanser, although I can only use it once every few days because it does sting my cheeks during and after washing. My cheeks turn bright red after using and they burn so its definitely not the everyday organic cleanser for me. I do like that there are no hard chemicals in the product.
