I love how quiet and efficient my Washer/Dryer combo is! New technology at its best! The only drawback is that is takes longer to complete a wash cycle. This works for me because I typically wash clothes at night when electric rates are lower and I have a small family. Not an ideal machine if you have many loads to wash, but it works great!
I was so skeptical , I had to purchase a washer / dryer combo because of lack of space in my unit and I really did not believe I would get my clothes to come out dry. I am so happy to share I was totally wrong and this particular model is so exceptional I would never buy anything else even if I had space.
Just received the unit this morning. Perfect size for our small house. Instructions are very clear…a good thing since our last washer was built in 1997. This new baby does it all after selecting your settings. Set it and walk away!
I just received my machine today and I cannot stop doing laundry because I love it so much!!! It is quiet, user friendly, and the convenience of having the wash cycle go directly into the drying cycle is amazing!!! The clothes come out so dry and so clean I'm just blown away by this little machine.
Love it! My clothes come out so clean! Others have complained about how long it takes. It does take long but the convenience of not having to take out the clothes and put in the dryer or go to a laundromat is AWESOME! 3 hours to wash and dry sure beats sitting in a laundromat wasting your whole day. So If you are complaining you haven't spent enough time without a washer or in a laundromat.
After getting adjusted to a new washer dryer combo from my old ones I can say that I actually really like this. It's very convenient for me. The only problem I have is forgetting I have clothes in there. I found the perfect cycle to use to dry my towels, my clothes, and my comforters, it does take longer to dry because it's not a regular dryer. It is a steam dryer. Therefore it feels like the clothes might be a little damp but they're not. I was so used to feeling the heat heat from the old dryer but I've gotten adjusted to this one. It's more compact so it gives me more room in my garage. I have a big vehicle. I'm happy with it.
I knew this unit would make me happy but after using it I'm so thrilled I decided to get this for my condo which doesn't have the capability of venting. So many features and the booklet helps to break down things so that you can get the most out of your unit! I highly recommend!
Great washer and dryer combo for small condos. This machine does the job, clothes are clean and dry. If you have not used a all-in one washer & dryer: separate heavy cotton loads from lightweight garments, otherwise it will not dry. Follow dry directions times. Excellent value. Had a Haier b4, worked for 20 years, also made by GE, this is my second all in one and did not disappoints! Is installed in my closet has my previous washer and dryer. No heat or humidity in environment. Excellent
Helped keep me in my home. We were able to make a "laundry center" in a 44" closet because it didn't require special electricity, venting, or clearance. Plumbing was put between the wall to the tub. Only thing taking up room was the discharge pipe. I am so proud of what we have done and how convenient it is. I tell everybody I meet about it. The only this is they don't offer a taller pedestal. Had to build a taller one to facilitate moving the clothes and the monthly cleaning.
I'm just days away from having my machine 4mos. I couldn't for the life of me get the filter open with a quarter as suggested for monthly cleaning. I tried repeatedly to no avail. I tried a flathead screwdriver - nope! I tried a pointed knife to get a better angle - nope! FINALLY, a butter knife did the trick. Then I placed a plastic plate underneath to capture water since the suggest bowl would be IMPOSSIBLE due to proximity to floor once opened. I'm sure if I had managed to open this booger sooner there wouldn't have been near the fluid inside - HAVE A TOWEL UNDER MACHINE NEAR FILTER OPENING and avoid the headache I experienced!! Since I am religious about cleaning the lint ring after each load, I certainly didn't expect the volume of debris in the filter itself. It doesn't look like much, but it was absolute nightmare wrapped up in and around the peace sign built into the interior of the filter ring. Have scissors nearby - that or Excedrine Migraine, lol! - because this was anything but a peaceful experience. Don't get me wrong, I still love the convenience of this machine over going to a laundromat ANYDAY! I'm just disabled so getting on the floor is difficult. Having weak hands makes this even harder to do =(
