I am pleased beyond words with this chair ! First of all it was 1/2 the price quoted to my daughters at a Home medical supply, and is the same exact chair. That says a lot. My Son in Law put it together in 15 minutes, the electric connections slowed him down a bit.I am so comfortable in any of the 'endless' positions, love the heat feature...perfect Temp ! I had my Right Hip replaced and this chair is a godsend, highly recommend it !
I just received my Mega Motion Lift Chair today. It is wonderful!!! I have severe arthritis and sitting in this chair is like sitting on a cloud. All pressure is relieved. The infinite positions allow me to elevate my legs at whatever location is comfortable. Same for the back. The full recline is extremely comfortable. I had looked at Pride lift chairs and this chair compares to Pride's anti-gravity chair at double (or more) the price and is much more comfortable. The upholstery appears to be better quality than the Pride chair. That's the only con - the upholstery could have been a grade or two higher. We will be buying this chair for my husband in the near future. Delivery was excellent - three business days after I placed the order. Thank you Sam's Club for coming thru for the consumer once again.
Super fast shipping, quality fabric, very quiet motor, easy set up - would recommend!
Chair was ordered online, always somewhat threatening, after extensive research on lift recliners available locally and online through other vendors. Assembly was not terribly challenging and the chair was up & working in no time! The chestnut vinyl has a very rich look & feel, closer to leather than one would think, with the beauty of being waterproof. The one thing that took a little training was the control, buttons not well marked, clearly not made in the USA. The remote seems very cheap compared to the chair itself, but I see online you can purchase replacements if you pay attention to which style you need & I suspect over the life of the chair they may make as much on those as they do on the chair. The only other thing that would have been nice is if the chair had massage & heat options.
Very nice, soft fabric and comfortable. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 was we thought the "infinite" position would allow it to recline further - it only reclines somewhat and doesn't allow extra elevation of the legs. Other than that, a wonderful purchase
Bought this chair for an elderly uncle who struggled at times to get up and out of his recliner. He is loving it! Says it is a better place to sleep than his bed with all the position possibilities. He is a smaller man and size is perfect. Very happy with the purchase.
The chair looks great - even better than expected. The color is just as pictured, and the seating is very comfortable. The separate recline and foot lift functions work well. This has been a big help for my disabled mother. Thanks!
For the low price, this is a good chair with nice features. The fabric is the only really disappointing thing. My mother is really tiny and needed a smaller chair. This is still too large for her but works better than the others. The fabric is stretching out after 4 weeks and she weighs less than 85 lbs. The controls are easy for her to understand and operate. The lift rises slowly so it is very safe and high enough to help her stand up easily. The heater warms the chairs slightly. She would have preferred more warmth. The massage is gentle vibration that is more relaxing than therapeutic. The color is a nice neutral but the fabric will not hold up especially for a heavier person. Would still recommend because it is an affordable alternative to a $3,000 to $4,000 chair with heat and massage. The dimensions were comparable to the "extra small" sized chairs sold by other companies but is still too large for a really small person under 5 feet tall. Delivery was to the sidewalk only but it arrives in 2 parts which are fairly easy to carry and very easy to assemble.
when going from reclining position to seating position there is a loud clunk which is enough to shake a person. this also is the case of going from lifting position to seating position. There is a definite drop somewhere in mechanism. I have tried to contact someone to find out if this is normal but no luck so far. maybe I will eventually luck out and get someone who can tell me something.
Check out the manufacturer's website before you buy this. If you need replacement parts (which I did), the manufacturer is no where to be found. Tried calling; you have to leave a message and they don't call back. An email to their customer service department bounced back. The chair itself is not bad, but for the money (and the fact that Sam's Club is still carrying the brand), you would think you could at least get a hold of a customer service agent. I do not recommend it. The chair I purchased is stuck in the "up" position and I cannot order a new part.
