This is the only charcoal cleanser that I seem to be able to use (So far). Keep in mind, I am very very sensitive to breakouts as well as allergic reactions/irritation. I have been using this cleanser for almost a week now, and it does not seem to be stripping my skin as much as most of the other charcoal cleansers I have tried from other companies. The mixture of ingredients cuts the intensity of the charcoal just enough to leave me feeling nourished, but to also help with the tremendous breakout I am having on my forehead as well. I have noticed a HUGE reduction in the size, irritation, and coverage of my current breakout with the use of this product.
