I try to buy organic nuts whenever possible to avoid pesticide. Pistachios are among one of the most heavily sprayed nut crops, so this is clearly not the best choice; plus they are lightly fried in vegetable oil, instead of roasted, which is another negative. Also, eating them with shells you have to work to remove tends to slow your roll and prevent eating too many at once -so it's a bit too easy to overeat these shelled pistachios and you will need to exercise some self-control. Not having shells is especially convenient/good, though, if you are going to serve to guests, elderly, or children. All that said, these taste delicious and I highly recommend them as far as a tasty healthier snack compared to say potato chips (and good if you are craving something like Doritos or vinegar chips). Keep in mind, though, that these are fried in oil and likely have a heavy pesticide load and potentially some mycotoxins (mold common among these type of nuts). If you don't care about any of that and just want the scoop on taste -they are a little saltier than I personally prefer but have a nice spicy kick (not super spicy but certainly have a little heat on par with say regular Doritos). These are fine for an occasional treat, but I would not buy them weekly due to the reasons stated above. Still, give them a try. They really are tasty.
Love these, but beware, they're addictive. Also, not every Walmart carries these, so you have to grab them when and where you can find them. I got these online, in bulk!
I love these pistachios! The flavor is really good. I do wish they were spicier as they are not really spicy at all. The Cajun flavored ones they used to have were the best, but I never see those anymore :(

love these pistachios, i was hooked although. i thought they were a little expensive . didnt realize how often I'd bought them til it showed me my previous purchases. i usually treat myself to a snack every pay period but last week i noticed they went up a whole dollar!! maybe I'll treat myself again for Christmas. not anytime soon
The weren't really spicy enough. They also tasted burnt. But still addictive.
Nothing wrong with the pistachios themselves, they're fine. There is NO jalapeno flavor to these nuts! When I buy something jalapeno flavored I expect the same amount of seasoning as other flavored snacks like chips, pretzels and crackers. Needs probably quadruple the flavoring!
These taste like straight onion powder. Barely a hint of pepper. Kinda bummed as I love peppers and don't like onions. They aren't stale or anything though so I can't give 1 star.
I should have read other reviews before buying these, I agree with all the negative reviews. While there is some sort of crunchy coating on the pistachios, there is no jalapeño flavor, they taste sort of burnt and like onion powder. Not very tasty, I will be returning them; as for this price I do not want to just throw it in the garbage.
Very disappointed! No jalapeño flavor at all! If I wanted regular pistachios I would have got them. I wanted jalapeño pistachios %26 I'm so sad. Haha
