Summit's classic series of 24" wide wall ovens are made in the USA and specially sized to fit common 34 1/8" H x 22 3/8" W cutouts.The TEM788BKW is a single 220V electric wall oven with a drop-down storage compartment. The exterior doors and manifold come in a brushed stainless steel finish, with full-width curved towel bar handles to complete the look. The oven door includes a window and exterior light switch to illuminate the interior, making it easy to monitor your cooking without opening the door. A digital clock with a timer function offers added convenience and dial controls ensure simple, intuitive cooking. This unit is designed for professional installation and is compatible with a standard 40 amp 3 or 4-wire range cord (not included). Inside, the wall oven features solid porcelain construction for lasting durability to hold up to everyday use. Two adjustable racks with safety brakes allow you to accommodate a variety of sizes when baking. The oven can be used to bake or broil. We include a two-piece broiler tray with grease well. Summit's domestically manufactured wall ovens have an industry exclusive height of 34 1/2". These units fit many discontinued cutouts such as Caloric, Slattery, and older makes, including Magic Chef. To fit other cutouts up to 39" high, add the TKW700SS trim kit accessory.

Being a widower for the past year, I needed to learn to cook for myself. I quickly realized that our old oven was very old and all I could do was set a temp, turn it on and then use an external timer to cook something. So I bought this oven and it's been great. I first set the temp I want and when it reaches that temp, it beeps! I no longer need to see if a light goes out when it comes up to temp. Then I set the cooking time and push a "Start" button. And when the time is up, it beeps again! I no longer have to keep an eye on a timer. And then I hit another button and it stops beeping and turns off the oven. This oven has been a life saver for me, I am quite happy with it.

We needed to replace our 1962 GE wall oven when it finally died earlier this year. The 24" GE oven was the best choice for our replacement. The original oven was a 26" which isn't made any longer. The current 27" ovens are too large for the existing cabinet. We are very happy that the 24: unit fit with only minor modifications to the existing cabinet opening. This was a well featured, economical choice.

Just recently had this oven installed after 3 failed frigidare gallery ovens. So far so good. GE is the only brand other than the Frigidaire that makes a 24 inch wall oven that fits the space in my 100 year old butlers pantry
Sleek design, the oven heats up quickly and the inside looks well made. I also like that the oven light doesn't automatically turn on when you open the door!
fits perfectly in my Ikea kitchen cabinet, wish that the electronics panel were not plastic but metal like the old model
We installed our new oven today and was excited to give it a test run and cooked a pizza. I went from a standard dial oven to a digital control panel so it was super easy to figure out and the oven heated up nice and cooked our pizza to perfection. I was a little disappointed with the plastic materials used for the handle and the top panel. It has a plastic matte black finish that gives it a cheap appearance compared to our old glass panel. I can see greasy fingers causing visible finger prints that will be difficult to wipe off with a dish rag. I am surprised GE cheaped out and used plastic materials instead of painted metal or glass like their old models.
Oven is a replacement for an old GE wall oven. No bells or whistles, but works as expected. My only caution would be to say that this unit is smaller than the old one it replaced, even though they are both listed as 24" ovens. I had to add filler strips on both sides of the opening to close the gaps that existed. Other than that, I am happy with the oven.
Damaged oven arrived with loose screws in the bottom of the box. Terrible shipping practices. No foam, bubble wrap or insulation. Looks like the oven was dropped. Igniter did not work. I requested a return and the process is in the 4th day as I get sent to different claims departments who claim they did not get the pictures I sent.
