I like these and it holds so much more than other's I've used before and I've added deviders with pockets to get the best use from it. Purchased 2 as they have black and white choice. I use them to journal because if I make an entry I don't like , I just remove the paper instead of ruining a book.
The Five Star Wirebound College Ruled Notebook 1 Subject was of very good quality paper, after writing with ink there was no bleeding through on the other pages. This also has a water resistant cover to help protect your papers from getting wet or damaged. Inside there is a reinforced storage pocket to help prevent tears and also extra space to keep important papers. The durability of this notebook is built strong to last longer. In the past I have bought notebooks that bleed through when writing, tear easily, or they just don't last long. After trying this for review purposes I definitely will be buying this from now on and I highly recommend The Five Star Wirebound College Ruled Notebook 1 Subject. I am someone who is into essential oils, recipes, and just about ANYTHING/EVERYTHING DIY!! Therefore I have, probably, 1000 pages of things that I have printed just sitting around here staring at me. I needed to organize them so that I can actually find and ultimately use them. With these binders, I am getting that done, and finding things that I had forgotten about! Fun!
The size is perfect! I use this notebook for online classes and it's great!

So far, this has been a great spiral! I love the two inner pockets for loose paper. The cover is water resistant which came in handy with my accidental tea spill! Five Star is guaranteed to last all year which is amazing because most spiral covers barely make it a few months in a heavy backpack. Because I can't speak for long term durability, I took off a star; however, the product seems to be of very sturdy quality. So I got the two colors I really didn't want yellow and green. So it would be better if you could pick the color you receive. The pages are thin but the cover is very durable. The spiral is strong but quality of this brand has gone kinda down hill. Otherwise I use it as a journal and it works fine. Could be a little larger though.
The listing did not clarify the size of the notebook. This is not a standard size notebook- unable to utilize at school. It is too small.
The description is better now but when I purchased it, it was poorly described and I thought I was getting a steal for an assortment of 5star brand notebooks. I instead received 1 and it was a smaller version of what I was expecting. I don't gave time to waste on trying to return it so ill eat the over priced tag but its not the deal it looks like it.
The internal ring bar came completely apart from the binder. The two rivets holding the bar in were completely stripped off. The ring bar thus coming right out of the binder.
