Purchased the brick red and darker blue colors for my hubby. He usually frowns when I purchase him new clothes but not with these. I think he really likes them. I know I do - they look really nice on him. They are somewhat small, so I did have to return my initial order and re-order 1 size up. I wish E.B. made a womens shirt with this material, it is so soft!
Shirt is great and a great fit overall. doesnt get too hot. one thing im concerned about is the material and getting caught on sharp surfaces. it could fray very easily. the length of the sleeves is perfect though. Does not go all the way to your elbow [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Bought for my son, and looks so nice on him. The color Lake, I believe, is a very pretty shade of blue. Good fit in the sleeves and body. Not baggy or tight. Just right. I always buy Eddie Bauer for my 3 grown sons for birthday and Xmas. Good quality, classy looking.
I have the Contour in both short and long sleeve versions. I ordered this in the Large/Tall as I am 6'3" and 205 lbs. I like the feel of the material. I would recommend this for casual wear, but not for hiking. It would likely not survive many treks through the branches. Great casual work shirt or unobstructed walking.
My husband LOVED this shirt! The color is beautiful (the greenish one), and the material is exquisite! Please make this polo shirt for women Eddie Bauer, I would buy them in a heart beat! Why do the men get the nice colors and exquisitely soft material? Please add more buttons on the Womens version. Thanks!
Bought one of these shirts because I had bonus cash to spend, and within a month bought two more. It's lightweight without being thin material, great fit, and I love the look - polo shirt but different than the standard issue Ralph Lauren/Nike/UA shirts. I wear them with dress pants at work, and with jeans or shorts out of work.
Soft touch, dressy, casual, and comfortable. I am 5"11 and thought of buying the tall size as the shirt goes slightly below the belt buckle, which is great if you want to tuck it in but I like to have it out. 2nd pair bought. The purplish color is the best.
I wore this shirt on a warm day when I was active, and the sweat stains were VERY apparent. Given that this is supposed to be moisture wicking, I did t expect quite the discoloration from dampness. Quality was good. Purchased on clearance, I'm okay with the value, but it was not worth full price.
I have been a fan of Eddie Bauer clothing for a couple of decades, but I've seen the decline of their products, and this shirt is the absolute worst. I've put it through the wash three times, and the entire shirt is pilled and looks like a rag. I'm really disappointed.
I have two of these shirts and they are 10 months and 9 days and they are no longer wearable. The tread is pulling out where the neck meets the shirt and it is looking like a grater was taken to the shirt. The sleeves are starting to look like they were snagged on something around the arm holes. I might have worn this shirt 10 times in this time frame to a desk job. Attached picture is of the best of the two shirts.
