My husband and I paid to have our taxes done for many years then found out that the company used TurboTax. So, we do our own now! We couldn't give Uncle Sam all the money he thinks he deserves without it!
Every year this software gets easier to use while not sacrificing quality. It constantly finds more deductions for me than using competitive software or doing it on my own. Worth the price.

I have been using Turbo Tax for the last 15 years or so. I am familiar with it. I have looked at some of the others and I really do not see a big difference from one or another.
TurboTax delivers all of the necessary forms and numerous tips to assist in completing them. If you figure what you would pay for someone else to complete the forms and the time and gas running back and forth, TurboTax undoubtedly saves hundreds of dollars.
Navigating was fairly easy once I got all the figures together from my spread sheets for the year. Time will tell as to whether or not the IRS accepts everything properly. So far no nasty calls from them so I assume everything is all right.
THE MD STATE TAX RETURN STOPPED AT THE ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME LEVEL AND WOULD NOT GO FURTHER EVEN AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPS. CONTACTED TURBO TAX ( WHICH TOOK 2 HOURS) AND THEY COULD NOT CORRECT EVEN AFTER DOWN LOADING A 2ND TIME WITH THE HELP OF TURBO TAX CUSTOMER SERICE.
