My kids love fruit snacks, but these are their favorite! They love the flavor variety and I love the price point. This is one of the products I purchase on a weekly basis because they love them and eat them quickly! Great for lunches and on the go snacks!
I was so baffled by these reviews because I recently ordered these and they were just as good as always. Well this time I ordered them and I finally got a box of the new recipe. They were disappointing. I am so glad I didn't order the large box like I normally do. They are not as soft as they used to be and they are not as good either. Not to mention the packaging just looks sad now. I won't be ordering these again.
These used to be my kid's favorites (mine too) before they changed the formula. We had been buying them weekly for years. Now they complain of stomach pain when they eat them! That's bad enough- but each parcel has a little less in it and seems to have fewer flavors per bag. Wound up in the garbage can.
IDK whose idea it was to CHANGE the freaking fruit smileys but IM UPSET!! PLEASE CHANGE THEM BACK!!! I I come all the way to Walmart specifically for your fruit smileys and now they're gross, hard, and taste like chemicals. WHYYYYY!?? Prolly so you guys could save a few bucks, but I guarantee people wouldn't even care about paying more to get the original back.
I thought it was just me %26 my taste buds. They should've left this brand alone. New formula is absolutely disgusting %26 I've been eating these for years. Don't waste your money or think it was just a one-off box that was nasty. It's every single one of them.
You can tell who is getting lucky and still has the old recipe vs new. These are a little more tolerable than the tangy ones (that used to be my favorite ones) but still bad and nowhere near as good as they were. If you are used to getting these and are used to the duller packaging version and now get the original flavor or the tangy with the bright neon packaging (See Image), be prepared to be disappointed. If you are doing a review on this product and the packaging doesn't look like the new packaging, you don't know yet. You still have the good ones. The new snacks don't taste as good, aren't as soft as before and are smaller too.
I used to go through a box of these each week, but they changed the recipe. I can't eat them anymore because I'm intolerant to peas. I was trying to figure out what was causing my symptoms lately so I went through my entire pantry and these were the culprit. So frustrating because there aren't a lot of packaged foods that I can eat.
So disappointed in the new formula! These have been my favorite fruit snacks since I was in college over 20 years ago! All of my kids have grown up eating them and they used to be my two year old's favorite treat! I noticed they disappeared from the shelves near the end of December and now they're back with new packaging and apparently a new formula and they are AWFUL! My two year old spit them out. They are tough to chew and have a slight bitter taste. They remind me of the stale Dots candy my grandmother used to have in her kitchen candy bowl. PLEASE bring back the old recipe!
believe all the reviews; these new versions are absolutely disgusting. they are hard and taste like chemicals. the old original versions were a favorite for adults and kids alike. shame on you walmart brand. epic fail. bring back the old versions!
