I don't know how other people here prepared their onions or how they served them so maybe their experience was yucky but the way we make them, they're usually gone before they even hit the table. The box says not to pan fry them - so of course, we do. The trick is to get the oil hot enough first (but NOT smoking hot), gently slide the FROZEN rings into the oil and let them sit UNDISTURBED for a couple minutes until the under side is almost golden perfect but not quite. Then flip them over and let them cook another couple/few minutes UNDISTURBED until golden. Take them out of the pan and let the excess oil drain onto a paper towel so they aren't greasy. Make sure to sprinkle with a little salt and pepper before all the oil is off the rings, though. Then we serve with a few different dipping options. I usually like google ole ketchup
These are the BOMB!! Cheese and beef inside of the onion ring, what is there not to like.
These are really good. Just like an appetizer from a restaurant. Hamburger, cheese, and onion inside of a breaded ring. Not spicy and not completely bland. Just right. Eat them right out of the oven or with ketchup, ranch, hot sauce, BBQ sauce, etc. Me being a large man half of the box filled me up. Enough for two adults or a few kids. Hope we see more unique food like this from Wal-Mart's Great Value brand!
these are so good on the smoker.
I made these in the air fryer. I set it to 400, and they only took about 9-10 minutes. It's not gourmet, but they are tasty. Especially with a little ketchup or whatever sauce.
Ok these are one of the weirder things I've eaten. I was expecting onion rings that were Cheeseburger flavor. However I was surprised. They are basically burger and cheese with onion flavor in a bread crumb coating. I really dont know if there are any real onions in this. Do I love it not but I dont neccesarily hate it. It lands in the middle with me. It might have gotten a little bit of a higher rating but it was a little to salty for me and probably anyone else that tries it. Not the best but certainly not the worse great value item.
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. There was no actual onion ring in the onion ring, it was basically a meatloaf ring. Also, it was pretty dry. I had to get some ketchup.
Very weird tasting.. There's Pickles in this item that isn't mentioned on the front of the box. Which normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but the pickles are over powering pretty much everything else including the onions..
I was hesitant to buy these. I shoulda listened to my gut lol Not good ! Very dry
These were nasty, plan on taking back to store
