[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love steamed food and my husband was excited about this. Rice, eggs, meats, veggies almost anything. It comes with tiers, including one for rice which is cool. You can see the water level so you know. The book in the back tells you times for each item to steam them, there is a huge list which is nice. So far it works well, ans it is dishwasher safe to. Overal we love it so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a food steamer but couldn't find the right one, I finally did. This is a really nice food steamer. With 3 tiers you are able to do multiple items at once. Last night I steamed broccoli, corn on the cob, and some dinner rolls to go with my chicken. Everything came out perfectly. Instead of dirty several pots pans and lids to do the same task, I put everything in my steamer and in minutes everything was ready to serve and eat. Easy to clean and stores nicely. There are so many things I am planning to use this for. I also love that the tiers have plenty of room to allow for different items. Really happy with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elite Gourmet Food Steamer is a great way to steam cook food. It is straightforward to use if you read through the instruction booklet. The cord is short, approximately three feet long, but the manual explains this is for safety reasons and you can use an extension cord if needed. I cooked rice and hardboiled eggs at the same time, which was exciting to me. When you turn the timer knob, the light turns on in front of the unit and you can hear the timer ticking. When time is up, there will be a short ding and the unit will turn off. I did not pay well enough attention to the instructions and added more water to the rice basket then I was supposed to. After twenty minutes steam time, I realized what I did wrong, emptied the extra water and steamed for another ten minutes and it turned out fine. I made hard boiled eggs on the second tier and they came out beautifully. Cleaning this unit is simple and the baskets stack nicely for storage. I cannot wait to steam more foods using this food steamer.

It's also great for steaming fresh eggs and they're so much easier to peel then when they're boiled. Steamed fresh veggies from our garden taste amazing and this steamer is so easy to use and clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elite Gourmet 9-Quart Stainless Steel 3-Tier Food Steamer approximately 2 weeks ago. I never used a steamer before and I'm in love with this one. It comes with 3 tiers with an abundance of room for your meal. I took from the freezer the small corn on the cobs, broccoli and cauliflower and placed in each teir. It also comes with a rice bowl which I placed my rice with butter, salt and pepper. The tiers are numbered so you know the placement order of the tiers and has a lid for the top. The base has a water indicator and I filled with cold water as recommended. It comes with a short cord for safety and 60 minute timer and the instructions were easy to understand and follow. There is a drip pan also on the bottom and a steaming guide for just about anything you could think of. I placed my tiers on top and set the timer for 35 minutes while I prepared the table ect.. I have cooked in this steaming machine everyday since I received it, even fish. It keeps all the nutrients of the food and its taste. This is my new first love! I would recommend this steamer 100% and the clean up is a breeze!
Love the steamer! Had major disappointment with the delivery. They kept changing the delivery date last minute on me. Took them 3 extea days to get here.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good steamer! Love that it has three levels so you can cook as many veggies as you want. I am never hard boiling eggs again - steaming is the way to go. So much easier and the eggs peel really easy. The levels are just resting on each other and are not attached but it does a great job in cooking and is a huge time saver. It does not take up a lot of space. This is 90% plastic, the ring/stackers may get mis-shapen from heat and everything once in place is not exactly air tight. Two things we didn't liked: their booklet says brown rice or rice takes 35-40 minutes, but after 45 minutes, my rice was still really crunchy. I cooked their recommended proportions in the rice tray: 1 cup of rice and 1-1/2 cups water. The rice was still floating in water and was too raw to eat. I cooked it another 20 minutes, which improved it somewhat, but it was still not edible. Definitely not made to cook rice. Another thing is the wire is very small.

It does however work very well and is very easy to operate. It really is a toss up on liking or loving this but the materials make me worry that it won't be a long lasting kitchen tool. Overall 7/10 as it does work exactly as advertised.
