Great gate for keeping my Grandson safe! I bought several sizes of extensions to move the gate where I needed it. I do wish they were a little sturdier across the top when the bottom is up against a baseboard. Sometimes it is shaken and becomes out of alignment rather easily.
I'm using this gate to separate my newest addition, 112 pound mastiff pup, from my heigh grouchy older cocker spaniel and it works great! I'm thrilled with how sturdy it is, even with three extensions.
I needed a very large gate for a very strong dog who esapced, knocked over or jumped over every other gate we had before, the extensions allowed us to limit her to her the kitchen area of the house only, she has yet to knock it down after many attempts of ramming it with her body, also you do not have to apply hardware into your walls its mounts right against the wall and does not leave any marks at all. Would recommend for anyone who has a large opening that needs gate off, they are also super easy to install!

this item worked very well for us. we have 2 large connecting bedrooms with no doors. this gate kept my child out of trouble. he'd awake at night, get out of bed and want to play quietly, then sneak into my room and play with our cat, check out the cat litter box, food bowl and etc. this gate gave me the ability to see him and keep him out of these situations. its real sturdy and safe. I don't know why but even our cat wont jump across it. I got the tallest gate I could find. it will be a long time before my 19 month will figure how to use this to his advantage. my child could climb out of anything. he's a regular George of the jungle, just pint size.
Was given a white Chelsea Xtra-Tall baby gate as a shower gift. I was looking forward to putting it in front of the stairs, but it was too small (not wide enough). Thankfully the website offers extensions in every size imaginable. It was easy to install and works great, but my only complaint is the white extensions are constantly out of stock so I had to break down after a month and get a black extension. Looks a little odd but works just as well.
