I used this product to repair a 3/4"x5' "line" on the drywall where an old bathroom cabinet had been for 30 yrs. The original wall texture looked to be similar to the heavy or coarse setting on the Homax can. I had concerns in regards to the Homax spray showing up more than the damage as the damaged area was narrow and long. My concerns were unfounded. I watched the online demo, had no problems with the tab breaking and practiced a few sprays on cardboard. The spray came out beautiful! I found the perfect setting and once painted it will be practically impossible to see. Took me about 5 minutes and the results were awesome. I think practicing the distance you are spraying at and cleaning off the nozzle frequently helped with the results. Thank you.
Came in very handy , very well made product, very easy to use and , didn't have any problems with plugging up as long as you turn it upside down and spray the stuff that gets in the nozzle out.
Saw some bad reviews so decided to leave my experience...takes a little practice .. rather than cardboard, the better option would be a scrap piece of Sheetrock I found - practice getting the proper distance and don't go heavy .. take your time, and be absolutely sure you shake the can well before starting - can says for 1 minute, I'd recommend for two .. put it on line you would spray paint pausing and working the patches applied - don't try to use a tool to shape it unless you have runoff but even then touch it up very very lightly just brushing the surface ... it worked great and after painting you can't tell where my 2 ft patch even was - hope this helps
It did exactly what it professed to do. I tore out a wall and patched the adjoining wall. I am very pleased with the product. I did however, have to give it two coats but that was probably because I used it sparingly the first time as to not get to heavy of a coat.
Used this product for the 1st time. Although the first can had the spray nozzle fall apart while try to change the spray thickness, the 2nd bottle worked great and blended with the other texture perfectly. I can't detect the new drywall versus the old at all. Definitely easier than buying a hopper and dealing with all of that.
Quadruple what you think you'll need. Product does not cover square footage as stated on cans.
Removing the tab per instruction, the nozzle fell out breaking apart. After reinstalling the nozzle and spray the wall, the spray went everywhere requiring cleanup. The wall looks terrible.
The ad indicates this deal is worth $50 , and that it is six items. Not so, turns out it is just one can, not worth anywhere $50!
This is not a 6 pack... I was charged $10 for one small can when a large can is only about $10.
They lied! It was supposed to be a 6pack on clearance for $50. Instead I got one single 10 oz can. NOT WHAT I ORDERED!!!
