hi this is such a great set its thin stretches and for those who exspect high quality it is.i really love that u flip the part on the sleeves and over her hands to avoid her scratching her face. now if your baby weighs 7.5 pounds u should get size 0-3 months.clothes go by weight so if your baby's over weight and height too it will not work. but i'm sure like me other's do check size charts on clothes the same as u would do for your self everyone nos clothes in size and brand all run diffrently for everyone also this is walmart brands people not osh kosh or other high price well made clothes ok..... i love walmart bodysuits and most bodysuits are made to go under outfits like a t-shirt for men under a thin shirt that's see through i don't understand how some people can be so picky its a great set and in color as well never had any problems with baby clothes from walmart so please keep in mind some people are to picky and just unhappy with everything in life so it rubs off on others and things like this for no good reason its great value and brand and most baby are in there size at there age unless u over feed and they end up over weight so please review size charts ok congrats and much love too all ..............
We didn't know what gender our 3rd child would be and I bought this and the boy version of these onsies b/c I liked the patterns compared to other brands (like Carters)...this would be under the take-home hand-knit outfit I had made for the trip home from the Hospital. I've had lots of onsies before with my other kids....Gerber I knew runs "short" and small....got the 0-3 month for newborn size, and it fits great with a bit of growth to go. The hand-mits are a nice touch, some 0-3 don't have them, only the nb sizes. the price was GREAT. For those people that said they were thin....they're ONSIES....these type of layettes are meant for layering, not to be worn on their own. The cotton is soft and the perfect undershirt-like weight. For $8 and 3 shirts, couldn't be more pleased- the pinks are a nice shade with nice undertones, not too purple or peach- the pink that all babes look nice in!
These are nice and comfy, not too loose around the neck, like some of the over-lap type shoulders are. They are soft, and slightly stretchy. Fortunately I was aware that Gerber baby clothes run small, it seems that most brands do. For that reason, I bought 12 months size, which is supposed to fit 20-24 lbs and 28-30 inches. After washing them, they fit my 5 month old granddaughter perfectly. She weighs about 15-16 lbs and is maybe 27 inches long so their sizing on these is way off. I've learned to always buy bigger when it comes to baby clothes!
This is not my 1st child so I'm use to the baby cloths sizing. These run small like almost all baby cloths & All Gerber cloths. I bought 0-3 mths for newborn. My last daughter was premie & was so small that premie cloths were to big, but the newborn fit her fine. A GOOD RULE IS DOUBLE AGE OF BABY & BUY THAT SIZE. That rule has never done me wrong. These oneies are a thin material. Thinner then the ones I bought 3.5 yrs ago & much thinner then the ones I bought 9 yrs. ago. They wash up well except for the shrinkage. They are great for layering in this cold weather. There is a pack of sleep-N-plays that match that I bought too. Like the mitten detail they have added.
These onesies are definitely cute. A couple things to know before you buy: 1) My daughter is 4 months old and they just fit...so...I think they run pretty small and 2) They are really thin material...that's no problem for my girl because she is a warm-body but if your baby tends toward being cold, I would keep that in mind. The patterns are cute and simple. We are using them under short-sleeve shirts and jumpers and they are perfect.
My daughter is 2 months and I ordered the 3-9 months. Unfortunatly, they runs too short and too small. I washed them at the first time I received them and throwed all the packages, so cann't return or change them. They are really cute, if you decide to buy them, buy larger size.
i ordered for bigger size 6 month for my 4 mth daughter.. but it ran short.. so i think these have size problem. and fabric is too thin just for summer wear.
