We checked the outside temperature with an outdoor thermometer we had and they were the same. We hung this right above our heater thermometer and it looked great. The right size and price.
Nice little gizmo. However, it is a lot smaller than I thought it was! Be aware that the sunrise/sunset times are approximate and not exact (if you ask Google or a weather website and tie it to your zip code it could be off by 5-30 minutes each way). Again, nice gizmo and I plan to keep it, especially since it has a hinge on it so it can sit on a desk or mantle versus wall-mount-only.
