This phone was a Christmas gift, because the first phone was dropped and the screen shattered, so this is what was wanted, because he really liked it.
Have had for a week, very little issues. Sometimes if the battery is low when your connecting to your home WiFi you manually have to hit the connect button but its no big deal only takes literally 1 second. Was in a building at work and couldn't call or get online, reset the phone and all was well. Screen is very active to every key you type, no pushing on the screen hard. Internet is very slightly slow at times maybe 10 seconds to load at most when it is slowing down. The one review claims there is no case, there is I just got mine yesterday at Walmart. I had the zte imperial 2 through us cellular, very similar and the service is a match to us cellular but at a better cost, I would cancel your contract and go to straight talk its equal to other phone companies and you get unlimited everything for half the price. Phones are cheaper, cases are cheaper. Better than us cellular in my opinion.
I've had my phone for approximately 4 months & everything has worked fine until this past week. I'm going to start off by saying that I have a very good case & screen protector on my phone nor has it been dropped. I push the unlock button & a very bright white screen appears, I tap the screen a couple of times then my unlock screen appears. It was like that for a couple days but now everything that is white is much brighter than it should be & the white screen appears anytime the screen is idle, even during a call! I waisted $100 dollars & I can't afford another phone!
I purchased 4 of these phones for my family between May and June of this year. So far 2 of them have the white screen and the other two are trying to turn white as well. When the first phone turned white I had to go around and round with Net10 to exchange the phone as they have a one year warranty. First I had to wait for them to ship me an envelope to mail the phone to them in, then ship them the phone, then wait for them to ship me a new phone....I had no phone for almost two weeks that I had paid for minutes on! Then when they did replace the phone it was with a different brand that was half the price of what I paid for the stratos, smaller and completely inferior. It barely works! This seems to be a problem across the board with these phones and they should have been recalled and refunds given. I wont even bother trying to warranty the second phone that just turned white this morning I will be purchasing a new phone through a different company! ZERO STARS!!!
What all the reviews are saying about the white screen is true. I never write reviews but felt the need to save hard working people like me some money. I now have to purchase another phone because the 15 days they give you has expired. I have only had the phone four months.
I purchased a Stratos ZTE (model Z819L, serial number e609ca4e)a few months ago and I am getting a white screen that locks up my phone constantly. I cannot do anything with it while it is on this white screen. I spent about $135 for this phone, I use the correct accessories, it has never been dropped or gotten wet. I am not happy with the level of service this phone has given me for the money I spent on it. This is the most expensive(cost) cheap (value of the equipment) phone that I have ever had to deal with. I do not think I should have to rebuy a phone when this was already a known issue. Is there anyone that can help me with this situation? I also cannot send my phone in for repair because I do not have spare phone to use until it is fixed. Please reply to help me with a resolution. Thank you
This phone worked for me for the first 2 months and then it started giving me the bright white screen. The phone locks up constantly. When I plug it up now it won't charge at all and I'm down to 19% battery and it's giving me the white screen constantly I can't get the screen to clear out I can't get the phone to do anything I deleted all the apps and everything and it still says that my system storage is running out. This phone is horrible. I would never buy another one like this. I have no idea what I'm going to do for a phone now. It's only been a couple of months so I'm not sure if it's still under warranty and even if it is I don't know who to send it to or what to do.
I loved this phone for the first 3 weeks but then the white screen appeared and I could no longer get Into My phone to use it and had to Purchase a different phone to use while this stratos is being repared, which is taking a couple of weeks through the mail! I will never recommend this phone for any. Person yo purchase because it's not worth the Money and it has cost me extra money to have to go out and buy another phone just so I can have a phone while the Stratos is getting repaired.
I bought this phone thru walmart.com in May of this year. Starting in September, I began to get a white screen when I turned the phone on. After several clicks of the power button, the screen would come up, but by October, the screen stayed white and I lost complete use of this phone. As I began to look into returning the phone, I find out that there is only a 90 day return policy. I then discovered that many other purchasers of this phone are experiencing the same problem. I think since this is obviously a manufacturing problem, we should be able to return the phone for some type of replacement. Very disappointed and would NOT recommend this phone to any body.
I have a zte stratos i bought in May after a little while , beginning of september, I started getting a White screen off and on now it has it all the time and is very frustrating. I am a student and cant afford to buy a new smart phone all the time. :( dont waste your money on this phone please.
