The S2 boasts so many great features and is designed to truly meet the needs of moms wanting to feel confident that they are. The pump will then switch to expression mode, a deeper, slower pattern of suction which mimics how your baby nurses when the milk is flowing. For women who find it hard to get a letdown when pumping, this feature really helps - switch back and forth as needed.

I absolutely love this pump!!! I used a medela with my oldest son and didn't like it. I can barely tell I'm pumping and the night light is an amazing feature!
Best breast pump i ever used! My daughter was in the NICU and i used the madela pumps up there and i wasnt producing enough for my daughter to eat. When i got home i Immediately pumped out twice as much as i was and realized it wasnt me, it was the pump i was using!
BUY THIS. Im 8 weeks pp. i ended up getting a cheap little "EvenFlo" breast oump thinking, "why soend all the miney when all breastpumps essentially do the same thing ?" WRONG They do NOT all do the same thing. THIS breastpump mimicks the natural suckling frok a baby, which will stimulate your let down response SO much more than a regular pump that inly has a regular "one suck" motion. BELIEVE ME- when i say your milk supply will MOST DEFINETELY be affected by the quality of your breastpump. Ive struggled for weeks with my supply and im FINALLY getting it back thanks to this pump. It is WORTH the money ! And your baby will thank you !
I've used Medela with two previous babies- the Spectra is the same or better, but half the price! Definitely recommend. Would have liked it to come with a carrying case or bag, though.
As an exclusive pumper to twin girls, I ordered this pump after my Medela Pump in Style Advance died 6 months in. I attempted to contact them in reference to a replacement since supposedly they had a one year warranty but the customer service line was less than helpful and advised that I wash the inside of the pump (which by the way did not help) – it eventually died at four in the morning and after speaking with a lactation specialist I ordered this pump. Truthfully, I wish that I ordered this pump to begin with. The difference in the suction is really obvious, painfully obvious actually. The Medela actually hurts so much more than this pump. I was able to “hack” the pump to use my Medela parts with it (found the instructions on Youtube) Also, to clarify the pump comes with 24MM flanges which are considered “small” by the Medela Standards. I typically use 27MM so I was glad that I was able to end up finding a way to use my Medela parts. I use this with my hands free bra which allows me to be able to complete other tasks while pumping. The light is helpful at night time for trying to line up the pieces without disturbing the babies or your spouse. Overall, I think this is a great pump and it seems to be working much better than the Medela.
Great pump, quiet, transportable, much better than medela [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Ive used medela pumps before I had gotten my spectra. This pump is probably the best thing Iâve ever used. Itâs soo quiet, and has a display screen that shows how long youâve been pumping, as well as your suction levels. Bonus feature, it has a light on it. Spectra also has a lifetime warranty. Almost a year into pumping and I started having issues. Customer support was soo professional, and when troubleshooting wasnât working, they sent me a brand new pump free of charge.
I have searched for a pump for 3 weeks before making my mind for this Spectra one. I think the catch for me was the massage motion they advertised, and of course the price was the best. The only thing I had a hard time assembling it, because I couldn't figure it out with the manual how to put together the little white gum that sucks the air, so I called customer service and they couldn't helped me either. I had to contact a breastfeeding consultant and she was finally able to assemble the Spectra pump for me, it was a frustrating process not to mention the parts are cheap looking. By the way if you want to pump only one breast you should not connect the tube to the outlet. Besides that the Spectra pump does its job.
This pump did not work for me. I purchased it through insurance with my third kid. I used a Medela Freestyle with the other 2 kids and loved it. But this one does not empty my breasts all the way so Iâve struggled with clogged ducts and now supply issues. After working with multiple lactation consultants I was finally told that my body could just be used to the Medela type of pump. Im getting rid of my Spectra and buying another Medela. If this is your first pump it might work great for you, but if youâve successfully used a different brand it might not.
pump stopped puming from one side no good only been using it for a week now
