It seems like these are fairly decent, not quite as tall as I thought they would be. In order to use these on a flat-top AR15 you will also need to buy some sort of riser rail to get your scope up off the gun. When I received these rings, there were only 11 top cover screws instead of 12. I called Blackhawk directly and they said they would mail me extra screws-we'll see. Time will tell if this is a quality item.
