I have cooked on induction before but never owned one. I have to say I wish I had been cooking on induction sooner. It heats up super quickly, medium size pot of water in under 2 minutes. It maintains a consistent heat throughout the whole cooking process. Very satisfied with this purchase.
I love my induction cooktop. We just moved into a brand new house that had all GE appliances. The cooktop was gas which I didn't not like. We had it wired for my future induction cooktop. Once I had it installed, I have loved it. It does an amazing job of cooking and it is so easy to clean. I am very pleased. I did purchase the extended warrentee because I heard they are expensive to be repaired. I have not had any problem. We have just moved to California and they have just band all gas appliances starting next year. This was a great purchase.
We wanted a cooktop that would provide the higher heat and quick recovery necessary to cook Chinese food. We considered a gas cooktop, but decided that induction would better meet our needs and be easier to clean. The GE induction cooktop has met all our expectations! We like the lock feature which prevents accidental turning on a burner; it's a great safety feature and is especially useful when cleaning the cooktop glass. Cookware comes up to desired temperature very fast and changes register quickly.
I just love my new induction cooktop. I was worried switching from gas to induction. I am crazy about this cooktop. It cooks evenly, cleans up beautifully, and has a sleek clean look in my new kitchen! Would most definitely recommend this cooktop!
This thing is amazing! Instantaneously heats the pot or pan when you take it off the stove top the stove top is warm. Not hot where it'll burn somebody but the pan is what gets hot
We really love our GE induction cooktop. Heats up quickly, handles of the pans dont get hot and clean up is very easy. Our kitchen remodel is still in progress and this was a great investment for us.
I am a long time gas cooktop user and this was my choice when no gas was available. I love the quick response in cooking whether turning on, off or anywhere I between. It is a good addition to my cooking!
I just love my induction stove top. It can boil a pan of water in 2 min. The reaction to the temps up or down are instant Makes cooking so much easier and fun. Love it!!
We absolutely love this induction cooktop! It's much better than the previous gas/propane unit. Boils a kettle or pot of water in 90 seconds and can actually simmer much better and finer than gas!
The glass stove top scratches very easily. We have new cookware and clean the surface of the cooktop prior to using. There is nothing abrasive on the surface when cooking, the pans are not slid across the surface but we have 2 scratches within the first week.
